c. 1976 Rossi "Puma" 92 SRC in .357 Magnum.
Bought it out of a consignment from an estate sale. It was UGLY when I got it but mechanically sound. Now it's a sweet cowboy action shooting rifle
I was recently instructed that I needed to get a GLOCK 22 to conform with all of the other officers in my department. The days of carrying my XD45 are coming to a end! I've had experience in the past with GLOCK, I purchased a GLOCK 23 shortly after returning home from Iraq. Needless to say I didn't care for it, I ended up trading it with a LEO for a XD40. The GLOCK just didn't feel comfortable in my hands, so I was worried when I was told I needed to conform to the standards of the local department. I went out & got some trigger time on G22's, but they still didn't feel comfortable to me. That was until I fired a friends of mine that has a GLOCK 22 with a CCF Race Frame. To me this was the best GLOCK I've ever felt in my hands. So when I found a G22 on Gunbroker.com I snatched it right up. True it adds some weight but to me it makes the GLOCK a better pistol.
Future Plans for it are to get the Extended Mag & Slide Release. Pluse I want to get some night sights or ATS. Let me know what you think.
