(far left) Gutted bi-tone XD-45 GAP with rubber decal grip. I snapped my trigger bar spring and am awaiting the arrival of the new one. Yes, I jumped on the bandwagon, but after 1500+ rounds, this is the ONLY problem.
(center) XD-9 with Hogue grip and new TLR-1 light purchased as a gift from my girlfriend at this weekends Las Vegas Gun Show.
(far right) My XD-40 Blue gun with Hogue grip. Used in my LVMPD Explorer class.

Two old Smith & Wessons for your viewing pleasure:
1. J-frame pre-40 Centennial.. Circa 1955, flat latch, high horn grips, original Tyler T-grip and the always favorite grip safety....
2. Escort 61-2. Only made between (approx) 1979-74. The first series had a reputation as a real POS.. Succeeding series got better, but S&W dropped them because they didn't "measure up" to S&W quality standards..
Funny, my 61-2 has been very reliable and accurate at self defense range.. A fun little plinker, and just a temporary "whistle stop" in S&W history.
I'm very fond of them both, and you just don't generally seem them around too often.
I don't own my own weapon yet, but around the 1st of October I'm getting my permit for a M1 Carbine
These are soms pic's of what i shoot with at my club (i know the photo's aren't the best.. phone camera )
