Mikey100Guns photos

I am just learning too. One thing I kept doing wrong was trying to import a pic that was too many k. Resize them in your pic editor first.

Now if someone wants to tell me why mine don't show up pretty inside the post i will be happy. TIA

I like all gun pics but your gun is the prettiest I have seen. Do you shoot it? Or is it just a keeper? I would want to put it in a pretty box with velvet, lock it away and just look at it sometimes, often.

My new Yugo being shown by my favorite little guntoting booger...

Stay tuned for when the ebony stain dries...

(and btw, it wasn't loaded, if it had been, he would have been unable to hold it)

I guess I'll share a few more pics. How 'bout some Ruger rimfires?

I know there are many Colt Double Eagle haters on this forum, but I still love mine:

A few contributions of my own. These are the ones I just couldn't bear to be without:

6861.jpg

My S&W 686 wears a bead-blast satin finish (cordia wood) grips by Kim Ahrends, sports a wide serrated trigger and masterful action job.

6171.jpg

Smaller in caliber but one of the most shot revolvers I own. S&W hit the nail on the head with the 617-10. The finish is factory (that's the way they used to do them) and I've never been one for "shiny" pistols or revolvers. Too bad this one needed an action job too, but what doesn't these days? Grips by Kim Ahrends (maple).

RugerMKII3.jpg

My heavily modified Ruger MKII. That's a Volquartson barrel/receiver assembly and a now-discontinued Redfield multi-reticle red dot sight. Trigger pull is slightly under two-pounds on this pistol and 5 shot groups at 25 yards can be dime sized with the right ammo. Don't ask me about the grips, I don't remember who made them. Sticks in my mind I ordered them from Brownell's though.

Sorry these are not great pictures

My old Anaconda. Never had much use for it. Got for dirt cheap compared to what they are now, traded in for even less. Excuse the finger on the trigger.

Ruger 22/45, I loved this thing (though would have prefered the MK II or even more a Buckmark), I think I bought into the 1911 trainer aspect. Only owned it for 3 weeks though had great fun in that time. Just needed money right after getting it.

Springfield .45. Now this one was my baby. Only handgun I ever consistently shot accurately. It was a joy to shoot. Normally I don't like trends and want something unique, but this 1911 was just right for me, like it is for many others. Liked the historical value as well, same sidearm used by everyone from Alvin York to Babyface Nelson.

Don't have a Glock 23 photo scanned in yet other than in this pic of my collection at the time (less Mossberg). Long guns are Bushmaster XM-15E2S Post ban (? still called that? anyway, '94-'04), and former prison issue (I believe) K-Mini-14 GB.

I know this is the HG forum but thought I'd throw this in (after all it has no stock). Kept this in codition...?(unchambered) mostly covered by pillowcase under my bed. Barrel was 19" when all the filing was said and done. Today would go with a full stock, no question.
