woops...Sorry guys. The thread is so long I forgot it was for handguns only.
To make up for it, here are the latest handgun additions...
Rock Island Armory 1911 A-1
Just an updated pic to include the new addition: Kimber Compact Stainless II. As soon as I get a new digital camera, going to take better pics. Camera phones just don't cut it.
Thnx for the kind words tipoc! She is the spitting image of my wife. It's funny, but I believe our daughters love to shoot almost more than our sons. As they get older and lead their own lives, quality time with Dad gets less and less. Shooting provides some of the best moments I have with our children. And in keeping with the subject of the thread, here's another handgun pic.
Kel-Tec PLR-16 long range pistol .223...
Hers one I am almost finished with it's a High Standard 38 Super. It has a fiber optic site on the front and out in the day light looks like it's about 3 inches around LOL. The 38 Super has a stainless steel trigger( set to 3.5 lbs.) which I drilled and then cut a slot in to lighten it up a tad. The holes in the trigger are a little different then most of the triggers I have seen all thats left to do on it is to de-horn the gun. The 38 will be my play gun for matches. The Stainless Steel one is my wifes new Kimber CDP II She asked for better grips so the new ones are from Hogue. the slide and stop along with the thumb safety have been polished ( they came brushed ) it looks classier polished the trigger has been set to 4 lbs. It was her birthday present this year. To hold it I got her a Wilson Combat Shark Skin holster with their ladies attachment which drops the gun 1 inch and moves it out 3/4 inch from their hip.
