Just one 9mm pistol opinions

If I could have only one, it would all have to boil down to the trust factor. It's close, but I trust no other firearm more than my P226. CZ75 and the PPQ are right there too.

If I were to have one gun that semi fits all criteria, probably ease of concealed carry would probably be at the top of my list. I currently carry a Walther PPS but I'd want something with more capacity. I'd probably get an HK USP compact 9mm. Ideally the bi-tone version. I believe it could be had for right around a grand, though probably used.

For someone who wants a very simple 1 gun, very easy to maintain, etc. without picking shooting as a "hobby", I'd recommend a Glock 19 or Springfield XD(m)

There are so many quality handguns now available that meet your criteria that this thread is basically a popularity contest.
The most important thing is that you are confident, and competent with your choice.
From your user name, I would say it would be in the Glock line.:D

I will be the first and most likely only one to recommend this gun but have a look at the Smith & Wesson model SD9VE. I have the version before this gun and and love it. people will tell you the trigger is rough but they smooth out and the new SD versions have a trigger upgrade. My local Academy has them for $300 + tax.

Use the left over money to buy a good holster, belt and a thousand practice rounds. Add a few boxes of premium SD loads to go with it. I compared the SD9 to the Glock 19 and they are for all intents the same size gun. Here is a good video of one being shot.

CZ P-01, P-07, or P-09 for no other reason than how they feel in your hand. BTW, they're also reliable and incredibly accurate. As previously noted, if Col. Cooper liked 'em, it's all the endorsement I need.

Go pick one up and see how it feels. Post back here if you don't say, "WOW....."

Absolute reliability, availability of parts and reasonable accessories?

Yeah, stick with the Glock line of 9mm pistols.

Probably like so many others I'd choose a Glock 19 if I had to have only one. Not a huge Glock fan but they sure do the job. Others would be CZ P-01, Walther P99, Sig P320 Compact, H&K P2000 - all real nice all-around CC 9mms. I could live with any of these for an only gun.

CZ-75/85B or Glock 17 Gen 4. I have both. I don't have much experience with the Glock yet, but the CZ is a bombproof utter reliable pistol. It has ran with every ammo I've put through it, and is very easy to shoot.

Two of my G17s - excellent pistols.

Gen3 RTF2 with Gills, and a nice Gen 2.
