Right now I'd have to put in a vote for the Walther PPQ. Mine is the M1/Classic version with the paddle magazine release. It's about the same size as a Glock 19 (which I also have). I find it easier to shoot accurately, more comfortable to grip and so far just as reliable as the Glock. The drawbacks I'm going to list in no way make me feel negative about this pistol, as for the most part it doesn't need anything but ammo, holster, and magazines.
There are some downsides to the Walther: spare magazines aren't as plentiful and cheap as they are for Glock (~$35-45 each, depending on source), holsters aren't necessarily off-the-shelf ready (but are available in my searching), aftermarket sights aren't as plentiful (biggest strike in my mind; I have a specific sight set-up I prefer, if you like 3-dot type sights this isn't an issue) and you don't have the plethora of random accessories, gadgets and gee-gaws that are available for Glock. (I didn't mention aftermarket trigger upgrades because frankly, the PPQ doesn't need them. Shoot one and you'll understand why the trigger tends to get glowing marks in reviews of these pistols.)
I'll report back when I have a few thousand rounds down range with my Walther, but right now it has a strong lead in the polls to displace my Glock 19.
