If you could only have ONE .45, which would it be?

It would have to be the SIG P220 or the full size GLOCK .45 for me. Wouldn't mind having a 1911 style .45 but if I can only have one, I want one I can "use". :)

Up until about a week ago, I would have said a S&W Performance Center 945 that I was saving up for but now I'll just stick with my P14-45 in stainless steel.

EASY! H&K UMP submachinegun.

Full size glock w/night sites, a couple extra mags, an extra barrel w/traditional riffling, two holsters & I would spend the rest on ammo.

Colt Gov't or a Colt w/ adjustable sights. Whoever said the Mk23 Socom is plum outta luck, the laser unit alone is $3,000.

A thousand to spend, huh. I would buy a Ruger P97 and a Ruger Blackhawk 45 ACP/45 Colt convertible and spend the rest of the thousand on ammo.

This is a very tough question for a guy that owns 18, 1911s and loves them dearly. But if I could have only one pitol to last me forever it would have to be a Glock 21 in .45acp or Glock 19 in 9mm. In this senario of one gun, it would mean that TSHTF and no resuply or repurchase was possible. That senario excludes everything but Glock because they are very simple, uncomplicated, easy to work on, totally rust resistant, high capacity, light weight and a ton of other plusses. Oh it would have to have night sights too. My second choice would be a Colt Series 70 Nitex finished with all the bells and whistles. Like I said tough question.
