Not for every one or every body, but works for me.

90% of the time, my daily carry is my Rossi 462. I'm right handed and I always carry cross draw when I'm able to wear an un-tucked shirt or a jacket. I have found that carrying a revolver cross draw allows me to carry my reloads on my strongside which puts the ammo in the right position to access with my strong hand while holding the gun in my left hand. On the occassion that I must wear a tucked shirt, I carry in a Uncle Mikes Sidekick ankle rig/w the calf strap. An added tip for ankle carry...wear your sock OVER the holster. It will help to stablelize the rig as well as keeping it covered while sitting and your pantleg tends to ride up.

I carry a full size 1911 on my right hip, and with as hot as its been I'm only in shorts and T-shirts. I have yet to have someone ask or approach me about it. BTW, I am a skinny **** and still don't have any problems concealing it.

In the summer, I usually carry my Ruger LCP in a pocket holster. In the winter, my main carry guns are my full sized 1911 or my S&W 637. Either of those guns get's carried in an OWB holster on my left hand side (I'm a lefty.)

My OWB holster of choice regardless of gun is a Galco FLETCH holster.

(Looks around nervously) thats kind of scary
LOL.

Dont get to freaked out, I used to live in Upper Bucks, by Lake Nockamixon. Spent a good bit of time at a few places up in Allentown, the Ag Hall, Days Inn, and the Army Navy, just to name a few. Even bought my one Rottie from a boy up in Catasauqua.

Live out in central PA amongst the Mushki's now. Couldnt take all the people back down there anymore. Rush hour here is two or three trucks and a buggy. :)

I carry my Kahr CW9 in a Bianchi 6D-11 IWB holster. I'm a bigger guy and usually wear 2XL shirts anyway, and my rig disappears under them . Hope that helps. Good luck and be safe!

Most often, right(strong)-side belt carry, usually between 4-5 o'clock position. IWB or OWB, depending on mood and dress.

Also have been known to carry a small .32 in front pocket, but have been meaning to pick up a holster to try back-pocket carry again.

As a side note, you should have denoted strong/weak side, not right/left. There are left handed shooters who are being lumped in w/ cross-draw as it stands now.

Eight months out of the year I wear cargo shorts and a tank top (retired in toasty Texas), so I pocket carry, usually a Kahr PM9 ... when it's cool enough to wear jeans, t-shirt and jacket, sweat shirt or long sleeve overshirt, I carry a Kimber UCII in a strong side belt holster .. prefer the Kimber for its bigger bullet, but I hate IWB carry, so when it starts to heat up, it goes back in its case except for range trips until it cools off ...

I have two primary carry guns and it depends on weather.
Summer it’s a Glock 26, in the pants holster right side.
Winter time when I have a jacket to hide it, shoulder holster for a Charter Arms bulldog.
But as much as I have become a 26 fan I have been looking for a shoulder holster for the Glock. My problem is that I don’t like shoulder rigs with the magazine pouch on the opposite shoulder and so far I can’t find a shoulder rig that doesn’t have one.

I have never had a problem with OWB carry with any of my pistols. My main carry pieces are either a Colt Combat Commander or a S&W Mountain Gun, but I've also carried a Colt Delta, a S&W 4516-1, a 3" S&W 657, and a 5" Colt Army Special at various times. No fancy rigs, just plain ol' leather from Don Hume, Bianchi, S&W or A.E. Nelson as gun choice dictated. I generally wear an oversized T-shirt or a light sport jacket in the summer, with no problems concealing the guns --- plus, at 5'11" and ~260lb. I tend to make a lot of guns look small. :o

I used to live in South Fla. and was comfortable carrying IWB on my strong side all the time. I still do.
It helps if the holster back extends up to keep the hammer off of your skin.
I always carry an open top/no thumbreak.

I carry an XD 9mm SC most of the time. For anyone thinking they don't have a good option for pocket Holsters, check out the DeSantis Super Fly or The Nemesis. It uses this sticky, rubberized outter shell with a protective, easy slide out material inner shell. What's awesome about this holster is that one, it will NOT move either in your pocket or when used as an IWB holster and two, it will NOT allow sweat to penetrate the holster to your weapon. I've also got one for my XDm 9mm 3.8 and both of them work fantastically well. Although, I don't carry either of my weapons in my back pocket, I use them both as IWB holsters. Weapon retention is excellent as well.

No multiply choice?
LCP in either a Desantis Superfly, front or back pocket. Or in IWB holster in the 4:00 O'Clock position.
SA XD40 Sub. IWB in the 4:00 O'Clock position.
