I live in florida where it is hot almost all the time. I wear shorts and t-shirts almost everywhere I go.
I live in South FL and also wear shorts and a t-shirt most of the time. The 'beltster' from Bandera Gun Leather here is the best thing I've found to comfortably carry a Kahr P9 or a Sig P238.

Oregon carry

Where I live, it is only really hot for about two weeks a year. Most of the rest of the year would be described as 'two shirt' weather. Just the way I like it.

So I just tuck a Cobra with a Tyler into my front waistband between the shirts. Reloads in ammo wallet. If sitting for long periods, I just reach in and pull the pistol up and let it lay between the two. When I stand up to go, I just make a little pretense of straightening the shirt and re-tuck it in.

On the really hot days, I just go with my back up gun, an absolutely reliable .25 TPH with wound out 35gr. XTP reloads in the right front pocket and one spare mag in the same wallet as the .38 ammo.

Robbery scenario - I carry my cash and two double eagles ( bail money) in my left front pocket. After handing them my empty wallet and that, I figure they'll be looking at the coins (gold always gets your attention) while I give them the right front pocket. Luckily untested so far!

Works for me. JT

I am having a hard time finding the right pistol and way to carry. I live in florida where it is hot almost all the time. I wear shorts and t-shirts almost everywhere I go.

Only two choices. Modify your carryng method to fit your dress. That limits you.

Or, modify your dress to accomodate your carry methods. I solved the problem, in hot weather, by wearing a light, short sleeved vest made by Bratwear. Has an inside pocket for a J-frame (a spare). It has felt at the shoulders, and is semi-dressy. I carry ISP at 4 o'clock. As temp's change, so does what I cover it with. All the way up to winter parka, with J frame in pocket when I'm bundled up and access to Sig Sauer is restricted.

Other shirts work, also. I like Cabela's Safari type shirts, short and long sleeved. Their Safari Jacket has side pockets, as well.

It's exceeded 100 degrees here in Reno a few times in the last couple weeks. My preference works fine.

Yes, I know. Lots of fellas who dress like you do who won't give that up. You'll need a small gun. I sometimes carry a J-frame or LCR in pants pocket for BUG (left pocket), but if it were my primary, it would be in right pants pocket in pocket holster.

Depends.

I carry my Taurus PT-145 Millennium Pro in an OWB holster at 4 O'clock. Have to wear a jacket or concealment vest over it, though.

I carry my Kel-Tec PF-9 in an IWB tuckable holster at 10 O'clock. It'll just disappear even under a knit T-shirt.

My "always" gun is a Ruger LCP carried in my right rear pocket, butt out.

I have Don Hume IWB holsters for all my carry weapons.

The Hume holsters are not top-of-the-line leather, but they are quite good and offer good value for the dollar. Even a true pocket pistol I prefer IWB (when possible) rather than in a pocket. Speaking only for myself, carrying IWB makes for a faster presentation.

I find that with quality gear (a 1.5" bullhide gunbelt from thebeltman.com and a Lobo Gunleather IWB holster as an example) and a baggy shirt, I can easily carry and conceal even 4" S&W N Frames, such as the Model 28 Highway Patrolman.

My daily carry is a full size 1911 carried at 4:00. Typical day at the office dress is jeans and untucked polo. Outside the office it's usually shorts and either an untucked polo or an untucked t shirt. The key is a quality holster and belt. Most of the time I carry OWB in a Raven Concealment Phantom on an Ares Gear Ranger belt. If wearing a t shirt with a shorter tail I will carry IWB in a Mitch Rosen ARG on a Mitch Rosen or Beltman belt. No concealment issues with either rig.

I live in florida and sometimes all I can stand to carry is a pocket gun. Otherwise, in warm weather its appendix side front IWB, PPS .40.

I carry my Glock 19 Appendix-Inside-The-Waistband, about 12:30-1:00 position. It is under a size-larger polo or t-shirt.

When I need to tuck in my shirt, my holster (Dale Fricke Ehud model) is a tuckable design.

For covert carry, my G26 or PM9 in a belly band holster.

I only wear those cotton sport shorts, so there are no belt loops nor will they support any type of holster so I go one step further and carry my kel tec .380 in a pouch holster in my pocket when I wear shorts.

It depends....I carry my LCP in whatever pocket I drop it in. I carry my 9c in a OWB kydex holster either belt or a paddle on my right side. Either with a large Teeshirt untucked, or a large button up over a tee.

Sometimes in a elcheapo IWB holster if I'm going to be walking around mostly and not sitting that much.

I carry both occasionally in my "man purse" or tactical bag or whatever you may want to call it.

Depends on the gun and dress.

If I had to pick just one. Front left pocket carry for my LCR. If I'm wearing jeans, I usually opt for my Glock and an over shirt carrying OWB.

Once the weather cools down a bit, the LCR just rides in my jacket pocket for comfort and ease of use.

Of course, I DO at times carry an 1858 Remington with an 8" barrel in a shoulder holster if I'm wearing something that will cover it well and the mood strikes me;)

* None of the above

You left out at least three methods that I have used, including the one that I use most often. I bet I'm not the only person for whom that's true, either.

Both my summer carry(Bersa .380), and my winter carry(Kimber CDP II Ultra) are carried in a UBG Striker IWB holster on my right side.

Ummm...concealed.

Just out of curiosity, "Super Dave", do you ever actually read posts, or do you just post twenty questions per day for the Hell of it?

Because I can't visit TFL without finding another half-dozen of your inane questions.

There is a search feature for a reason. If you legitimately cannot find the answer to your question, by all means, post it. But at a certain point, your credibility is gone and your posts become a joke.

I live in Houston & it is hot & humid here in the summer.
I just wear a size larger t shirt or button up shirt ,usally dark color & thick material to prevent gun printing.
My shirt tail is outside to allow for ventilation & hides my sidearms quite well. ;)

Summer carry in IWB hybrid @ 3;30/4:00, bug in cargo short pocket with untucked sport shirt. Winter OWB under coat.

I wear shorts and t-shirts almost everywhere I go.

Super Dave, when I wear shorts and t-shirts I can carry any gun I own, anyway I want. From full size XD OWB or IWB, to pocket carry J-frame it doesn't matter. Casual clothes are easy, because the shirt is untucked and covers anything I have. When I'm dressed up it's harder:(, sometimes pocket carry is the only option.
