Hillary is Running

Yes, the PIAPS is running for Prez. An email I rec'd yesterday said there was a bumper sticker out now that said, "Run, Hillery, Run" which conservatives put on their front bumpers and liberals on their rear bumpers........

"Yeah, right. Hello UK. Hello Australia. Howdy Canada. For the children."

Hey, how in the heck did we get in with this bunch! Howdy Canada hell, I got more gun rights than some Americans and I can mail guns across Canada can you mail guns across the US? Can you buy a gun out of State and have it mailed to your house? We both got some pretty dumb gun laws ours are just more obnoxious and we aren't about to have Hilary as a Prime Minister. God the thought is scary!

Take Care

Bob

With bob on this one. The thought that Mrs. Clinton (or will it be Ms. rodham?) would be prez is kinda scary since I can't afford any guns till I get out of school (for some reason they won't give me a 500k salary without a Ph.D. :p ) and to think that I missed out while my dad was allowed to tease me with his toys i guess would be more aggravating. Still I think H. C. has her work cut out for her.

I honestly hope that the nation will be more awake to her not so subtle desire for destruction of liberty. I wonder why enemies within are not spoken of in the same manner as enemies abroad...which sadly our country doesn't as a whole make up its mind about either these days. Whatever happened to the bad guys (or gals, in this case) being known as such and treated as such?

With a record like Hillary's and running?

Hillary ticks off EVERYBODY!
Those wonderful Democrats have become SOCIALEST and if allowed to do so will mess over us.

I predict that the clinton/obama ticket will win, but i'm not sure which will head the ticket. I dont think the Repubs have a chance, and this has nothing to do with guns or any domestic issue, its about the WAR. This country is in another Vietnam, which is threating to widen to the point where we are fighting, alone, from Afganistan, Packistan, to Iran and Iraq. We are uniting the arabs and persians where in the past they were focused on killing each other. Whatever fear you have of another idiotic brady bill should be nothing to your fear of the destruction of our financial and social fabric that this escalating war will cause. People sense this, and will not elect anyone who is going to pretend we can win a war against a hostile Islamic population. We would need to exterminate them, like the Germans tried to do the Russians in WWII, and we cannot face ourselves as a people or retain what makes us great if we ever try to do that. All those billions we are pouring into a the sandpile could have made our ports and boarders infinitly more secure. As it is, we are creating enemies faster than we can kill them. They have little to loose, and we have everything to loose. The public is finally starting to get it and this dooms the Repubican Party--witness the last congressional elections if you have any doubts.

speaking as a woman, I'm embarrassed by those nitwits who vote for a candidate solely because of gender or skin color: "Oh we have to vote for a woman. let's not question her views or ability as long as she knows how to use a tampon we're ok." -spew!-

luckily I don't think Hillary has a snowballs chance. She's big in Hollywierd and NYC but not elsewhere. She has almost 0 experience. when she is called on this she will say she was there for 8 years in the white hosue. when all of Bill's screw ups are borught up- she'll claim she wasn't there then.

thank God for the Capitol Steps!

The GOP faces a real threat from Obama, but not so with Hillary.
Obama is a 10 on the threat scale...
Shrillary is a 9...

To me... that makes it 6's...:D :p :D :p

On a more serious note... I hope they don't end up on the same ticket...
Then they will have the black vote and the soccer mom's...

A shoe in! Heaven help us...

soccer mom's won't follow Hillary. once people bring up her old quotes like "i'm not staying home and baking cookies" etc. Obama surprisingly is not getting al ot of black support. outside of Illinois, apparently, a lot of city dwellers don't know he's black. In Illinois he's alienating his black base by the fact he's suddenly got a cadre of white advisors. The black's who he spoke for are feeling he's cast them aside.

Snow Fox
...soccer mom's won't follow Hillary.
The black's who he spoke for are feeling he's cast them aside.
I surely hope you're right...

The Soccer Mom's voted for Slick Willy...?

And Obama can pick up the black vote again as he nears the election...?

I've never wanted so much to be wrong... :(
It would be a first, you know... :D ;) :D

The 1950's called, looking for the Donna Reed image you conjured. ;)

From 2005:
"Between 13 and 20 percent of wives out-earn their husbands, according to recent Saint Louis University research."

I don't think the argument that soccer moms won't vote for Hillary is supported yet.

I think it will be an interesting election for sure. Not really sure who would run against an Obama/Clinton ticket. McCain? He'll get crucified by simply re-running ads when he ran against Bush (and then embraced him). Giuliani? Tough sell to the traditional conservative base with 3 marriages and a pro-gay and pro-choice stance.

The black vote is interesting. Black soldiers in Iraq right now comprise 18.6% of the force, even though they are only 12.7% of the population. There may be a swing back to the left by the black vote (Bush won over some in 2004) based solely on the Anti-Iraq position. But then, we can't really trust polling as to who people will vote for 21 months before the election. There's still plenty of time for candidates to make up their minds on what they believe in.

Not that I'll vote for a Democrat, but the dems would have a better chance with Gov. Bill Richardson, D-N.M. as their candidate than either Obama or Clinton.

Fair statement. It would be good to not have a polarizing president for a change. It's been a while.

Wildcard?

Who ever the republicans end up with, they need to get Rice on their ticket. She would not be my first choice, but as a vice president, not much harm can be done.

Rice could take away some women and some black votes from the others.

Just the same, I'm buying a few more hi-cap magazines and a bunch of reloading stuff...just in case I'm not really paranoid, and they really are after me...

Condi Rice....

Are you freakin' kidding me?

Unless there's a major turnaround in both the actual war in Iraq and public perception of it, Dr. Rice will never hold any public office again. It's like thinking that Robert McNamara would have been a good VP for Gerald Ford.

And, if Iraq did actually have a snowball's chance in heck of becoming an American victory, that would change the dynamics of 2008 so much that all the predictions would be useless anyway.

Condi's done. Stick a fork in her.

I agree that its too early to tell. I think alot of Americans would like to see someone we can all respect. I had some hope for Edwards, as a guy who would not try to take our guns, but would stand up to corporate greed, you know like 100million dollar salaries for CEOs, and Exxon making 40 billion a quarter as they raise our gas prices by 20%, claiming they are just passing on costs...jezz, i wish they'd pass on some of the profits too.

Americas' middle class has been shrinking for 30 years, which is a real danger to our republic. The rich get richer, the poor(er) die on foreign soil for "freedom" while oil companies and multinationals rake off record profits. How many members of Bush's cabinet are former oil company ex's, all of them? How was his own war record? A deserter if I recall--first cushy rich boy guard duty, then he doesn't even show up for that. The guy admitted he was a coke head and a drunk before getting "born again." It makes me sick to think of our young soldiers dying for that fraud and his crazy expanding war. He's not a dem and likes the NRA, but he's certainly no friend to average American.

Got this in an e-mail earlier today. Enjoy :D

One sunny day in 2008, an old man approached the White
House from across Pennsylvania Avenue, where he'd
been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the Marine
standing guard and said, "I would like to go in and
meet with President Hillary Clinton."

The Marine replied, "Sir, Mrs. Clinton is not
President and doesn't reside here."

The old man said, "Okay," and walked away.

The following day, the same man approached the White
House and said to the same Marine, "I would like to go
in and meet with President Hillary Clinton".

The Marine again told the man, " Sir, as I said
yesterday, Mrs. Clinton is not President and doesn't
reside here."

The man thanked him and again walked away . . .

The third day, the same man approached the White House
and spoke to the very same Marine, saying "I would
like to go in and meet with President Hillary
Clinton."
;
The Marine, understandably agitated at this point,
looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third
day in a row you have been here asking to speak to
Mrs. Clinton. I've told you already several times that
Mrs. Clinton is not the President and doesn't reside
here. Don't you understand?"

The old man answered, "Oh, I understand you just fine.
I just love hearing your answer!"

The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said,
"See you tomorrow."
