Hillary... Is It Possible??

Just as he had to resign...
Nope. There's no law in MA saying you have to resign, and Kerry didn't. He is still the "junior", and even more left wing, senator from Massachusetts.

In fact, last I heard, he's planning to run again.

He was a Vietnam vet that "earned" rather received many awards.

Thats debatable, guess it depends on your definition of earned is. Lots of vets laugh at his record.

As far as Hillary, yes, america is dumb enough to elect her, it could happen.

I have heard a lot of Hilary vs McCain in '08. This isn't good.

I think people are easily dumb enough to vote for her. She has the left behind her all the way, and lately she seems to have been pushing a censoring campaign to get some of the moral vote. This is very bad.

"Au contraire, she has delivered the bacon for NYers and is well liked for her abilities by NYers of all politcal persuasion."

She has did nothing in this state, and is still loved by most. Most people here in NY really are stupid, they blindly follow the unions. Hitler would carry this state if he ran on the democratic ticket.

There is no chance McCain will win the republican nomination. He'd have a better chance running for the democratic nomination, or as Hillary's VP.

Whoever gets the nod, it's going to be a terrible, nasty, and dirty campaign. The left needs to pull out ALL the stops, another republican term will be devestating for their agenda. Ginsberg and Stevens will very likely need to retire next term, whoever picks their replacements will have a major impact for decades. For the RKBA, we need that to be a republican.

If it's Hillary versus McCain or Guiliana, Hillary will win. The conservative base would stay home while the liberals would go to the polls in droves.

The only conservative who seems to be grooming himself for a run in 2008 is Newt Gingrich, and I just don't see him winning.

Guess that's why I have a "Rice '08" sticker on my car. One can only hope.

be interesting to see who the pubs put out for a candidate. i also think gingrinch is unlikely. he is way too intelligent and that intimidates a lot of people on both sides. we like our presidents dumb or sleazy. plus he really needs a makeover. :D

frist went straight from heart surgery into politics. didn't care for him when i lived in tn and not sure i do now. but will keep an open mind for the future. for the most part southerners suck at being prez and vice prez these days. we have "some" good politicians down here, but the wrong ones make it to the show. reason why. lack of literacy testing which i feel should be a nationwide requirement. but it is especially relevant to mississippi. won't expound on the reasons why lest the thread gets locked. :eek:

gonna buy all my guns and ammo before 2008!

here in Utah we know that no matter how few seconds left in the game and no matter how large the margin they have, the Utah Jazz can still find ways to lose a game. Reminds me of the republican national committee.

And I am seriously worried for 2008.

Unless the Republicans get their heads out from between their collective rear ends, Hillary will win. The left is just too good at spinning their fables and provoking fear. Their lies, damn lies and BS statistics go unanswered all too often. The Republicans have to fight fire with, if not fire, a high pressure hose. They're too laid back, too slow to respond, to weak in their retaliation.

Call a lie a lie on national television, go for the jugular when some liberal bozo is whining about this or that, have the facts straight ahead of time.

ACT! Not react.

Why don't they know this? Why don't they do it? It doesn't have to be mean-spirited, just cold hard truth in the face of a big steaming pile of B.S.

Aaaarrrggghhh! I hate politics!
But I kind of like it too :confused:

I'd have to say that I agree. Seems that people are so worried about hurting each others feelings or saying something not nice. Yet when the commercials come on they're slamming one another. I don't get it.

Politics is definitely a dirty business - I don't think universally so, but the bar for the average behavior is pretty low. :p Seems that the worst will do whatever it takes to win and carry out essentially propaganda/disinformation campaigns. The sad thing is, it works, and many voters are so partisan, they don't care either - do whatever it takes.

This may sound idealistic, but *as a practical matter* I really don't think that all-out, take no prisoners competition between Democrats and Republicans is beneficial, quite the opposite. Voters do have it in their power to greatly influence politicians behavior over the long haul. Their goals are to get into office, and to remain in office as long as possible. So they will do what works in achieving these goals. If voters were to punish partisan politics and blatant lying by withholding votes, I can tell you right now, we'd see a lot less of these things.

That's just not going to happen in our America.
A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largess of the public treasury. From that time on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the results that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.

Don't underestimate Hillary. She is smart, ruthless, and she has a LOT of money, and a lot of allies around the country. Money is the mother's milk of politics, and she has been stockpiling a HUGE war chest, and building up owed favors all over the place.

If she wants the Democrat nomination she has it. When it comes to the general election, who is her opponent? I see no one on the radar right now who can hope to beat her.

In short, I think we should get used to the idea of 8 years of President H. Clinton. ((((((shudder))))

Is all this because she's a woman?... or just because she's not fit to be a president?
Iif she can't handle her man, why should we think she can handle a country?

Do not underestimate Hillary's chances

Without a doubt, she will run.

Is it possible that she will win? Unfortunately, it isvery possible.

The Democratic National Committee, the people at the top of the heap that control the Democratic party at the national level, are dyed-in-the-wool socialists, plain and simple. That Hillary Clinton is a hardcore socialist cannot be denied. Putting her in the White House - along with Bill, it's a package deal - is the DNC's wet dream.

Look at the backing Hillary has:

1.) 90%+ of all of the "enlightened" professors in the academic world;
2.) 90%+ of all the TV news "talking heads" and their bosses;
3.) 90%+ of all the printed news media;
4.) 90%+ of the "intellectuals" in Hollywood;
5.) 90%+ of all students on college campuses;
6.) 90%+ of all women belonging to "women's groups";
7.) 100% of all members of every antigun organizations;
8.) 100% of all illegal aliens who will manage to vote;
9. Communist China, whose "government" has tried to manipulate the
outcome of our Presidential elections before;
10.) 100% of United Nations workers and sympathisers in the U.S.;
11.) Nearly 50% of the U.S. Senate;
12.) Nearly 50% of the U.S. House of Representatives;
13.) 50 to 100% of U.S. Government bureaucrats and functionaries;
14.) Her sham husband, Bill "I did not have sex with that woman" Clinton,
who has megatons of political clout and can raise hunderds of millions
in campaign cash for "the little woman." :barf:
15.) The gullible American Sheeple, who are swallowing the "middle of the
road" schtick she is currently peddling.

Yes, she has a good shot at winning. God help us if she does.

We cannot let that happen, if we want to keep what few scraps of Second Amendment rights we have left.
And Fourth Amendment rights.
And Fifth.
And Sixth.
And Ninth.
And Tenth.

Well, Republicans have to be happy about the bullets dodged in '00 and '04. Either Gore or Kerry would have been very weak and bad leaders. Look at the NUT that Gore has turned into! I think he's lost credibility even with much of Democrats because he is OUT THERE!

I don't agree with Bush 100%, but I think he's doing a good job and doing what a Pres should. And, with him I think we've handled the 9/11 correctly, the middle east as well as anyone can hope to handle it, we've not been attacked again since 9/11, we've got the taliban on the run, we've removed one of the most dangerous and evil "Hitler-type" dictators in world history quite swiftly, and we'll get two new Supreme Court judges that aren't left wing activists. And, Republicans won so many valuable seats in '04. I think that's a powerful message to the left that America doesn't like it's dirty politics and way of thinking.

All in all, I'm quite satisfied with the outcome of the last two elections and the actions of our leaders.

As for '08, I'm worried. I don't know who will run, but I don't think Hillary can win the nation. That's just my .02.

Draft Condi!

Anyone see her on O'reilly? When asked how she feels about people saying that she is not "black" enough, she repled with a smile:

"Bill, I've been black my entire life. I dont need anyone to tell me how to be black"

I love her!

You have a brilliant, well liked, strong conservative black woman...shes apparently pro 2nd. She can beat Hillary by attracting women, gun owners, coonservatives and black middle calss and moderates. Shes the only one that can beat Billary and Barack.

I for one am sendeing her an email asking her to run
