U.S. Navy 1962 - 1965, stationed aboard the U.S.S. Midway (Tip of the Sword).
Worked on the flight deck in V-1 division (the dawgs), fly 2 area, wing walking and tiller bar on those A4 Skyhawks. I made two West Pac cruises.
"Midway Magic" is still alive and well in San Diego, California as the "San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum".
 
I see acouple of folks that had a job similar to mine - WOW.


1986-1989, USAF, Electronic Security Command, AFSC:202, Amongst other places - Clark AB RP - yes we had an Elephant Cage. Last tech school - Cryptanalyst.

The ones who know - the AF does not give 3yr tours, I was discharged (Hardship) for two reasons: 1) Both parents were murdered 2) My clearance was revoked due to that.

I sure was a 202 - forgot my squadron (6922nd ESS) before.

I found some APRs (Airman Performance Reports) with my DD-214 (discharge form) copies ad my wife was reading them over. She was totally confused, the job description starts with "In the classified career field..."; so the description as far as my job, it was (and has to be) complete double speak.
