Guns You'd Like To See Produced.

The only 2 I can think of that I would love to see produced would be:

1. a brand new in the box, full warranty, 3" 686 no lock.

2. 3" .357 magnum semi auto. :)

Glenn..........

Phasers? okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy

the Grendal P11

Marlin Camp .45

Broom Handle Mausers and Lugers in .45

offset scope mounts for M-14's (good ones)

others I'm to tired to think of right now.

Think new and innovative.

How about a polymer frame with grips that mold to your hands? Sort of like those Red Wing boot soles that you heat up, then step in to mold to your feet. How can you complain about ergos if you can pick a grip angle, then mold it to your fingers? If it held its shape, but also retained a little cushion to absorb recoil, it would be the easiest shooting pistol made.

Also, I'd love to see more pocket pistols on the market. I know they wouldn't be able to import it, but if Glock could make a .380 smaller than the G26 frame, I'd be first in line.

I'd also like to see Taurus and other low-cost manufacturers improve their quality control and reliability while retaining their lower price point. That would be good for the market overall.

I'd like to see Ruger reintroduce the PC carbine in .45ACP compatible with their single stack .45ACP mags

I'd also like to see them introduce the SR series in .45ACP with a 13 or 14 round magazine. :D.

How about a Ruger automatic like the .22 chambered in something a little more powerful like I don't know what. The Ruger .22 automatic is suspiciously like the 8mm Nambu. How about in .32 ACP? Or .380? In any color they'd care to make it in.
I think the story is something about Bill Ruger being a Marine when he was exposed to the 8mm Nambu and was almost tempted to just build copies of the Nambu, but built what he did instead.

<<alienbogey,

So you want a compact brick :P

(wth all due respect of course)>>

LoW:

Ruger P series are bricks, I agree, and I own one.

Have you held an SR9?

Not a brick, very slim and ergonomic in a 17+1, I think it could make a very nice, higher than normal capacity compact.

Well, being old...

Mannlicher-Schoenaur carbines.

Winchester Model 52 and 61 rifles and Model 12 shotguns.

Colt Detective Special, Officer's Model, and New Service revolvers and Woodsman pistols (I contend that they could be produced reasonably economically and to a high quality standard using modern equipment).

Savage 99 rifles.

BSA Martini match rifles.

I'd like to see a small frame .357 mag w/ 4" barrel and adj sights for a nice little packin' gun.

A break-top .22 revolver would be great. Heck just bring back the whole H&R line.

For long guns a reasonably priced o/u line of rifles.

I would like to Glock produce a slim, all steel firearm, as well as a slim polymer model. :D

Certainly not holding my breath for that.

Would like to see S&W produce an all steel Commander (did I miss something? Is it out there already, in production?!) in various calibers, including 9mm, .357sig, .40, etc. :D

Fun thread.

10 shot K-frame, 4'-5" in 17m2, 17hmr w/weaver base.
7 shot J-frame in 327mag.
Slim G26 single stack 7+1?
An affordable quality line of drillings.

I think there are already alot of great designs out there, I just wish they would sell them!

The shot show is like a car show. All those bubbly space age cars that you will never see are like the guns they showcase ever year, you never see them!

Broomhandle mausers in a variety of calibers, I wish hi point would finally get the .45 carbine done and start working on a .22 or 10mm version. Luger pistols in more than just .22,
