Jeez guys!
For those I obviously offended and don't know me too well and for what it's worth I apologize, but not for how I feel about things, but rather because as usual I get misconstrued. What can I say, in business terms (a college buddy of mine gave me the label) I'm a HIGH CONTEXT individual living in what apparently is a "Low Context" culture... according to him anyhow, meaning that we're a culture who want's things NOW. I'm thinking on multiple levels at once therefore there is much volume to what I say or how I come across.
And I'm not labeling anyone in here personally as a "Condom Leak Degenerate" but you have to (well you don't but try to) appreciate the levels of faggotry (and I don't mean in a homosexual way either) I've had to grow up around with others. Being that I'm a high context individual as well as one who can get heated (not angry, just heated) I tend to piss people off, but that's a small thing considering how guys like me who obey the laws, mind my own business but am Patriotic of an "Old Guard" mindset get demonized left and right. As long as I keep my mouth shut, speak in a PC minded way, then everything is 100% Copasetic.
Well after I hit age 15 I said screw all that and started telling my peers what I thought about them, or at least stating my observations of the situation overall before us all. There's simply no excuse for anyone in this nation to not know their dang rights or have understanding of what the nation was founded upon nor what it stands for. When I would refer to some people in the past (and again no one in here) as Condom Leaks, it's just frustration coming out is all. Because I had to grow up around people who either were told they were stupid and they believed it, or they were supposedly far more "with it", but you'd never know it. But then again I was the guy in Senior Highschool who on day 1 - 5 would actually read and memorize the whole student handbook to know my rights, what was written law for that respective institution of processing (cause it sure as Hell ain't about education), and where their could be loop holes because it wasn't cannon if it wasn't written. You know what most jerk offs did? They screwed around, never took anything seriously, and most I've seen still don't, and cry like babies over topics they'll never have any understanding of what there is to understand because they're oblivious to it all.
THEN, when the SHTF (the senior high example), I'm the guy who'd tick off people because I seemd to be made of Teflon, and the Principals were mad because I actually knew my rights. Things like eating lunch on the football field was a no no right? They wanted me for truancy only by the (then) handbook definition of "Truancy" one could only be so if they were off campus or away from a Curriculum/Class. Lunch wasn't part of any cirriculum and though it was understood you either ate in the lunch room or court yard, it was never written as law that you had to stay there. Thus in wanting to be away from most of the collective majority of self induced "blahs" I went to the football feild. They couldn't do squat to me because I didn't beak any rules, I was within my right.
Now while that's a crude and albeit rather juvenile example of what I'm talking about, it has everything to do with where we are today. If what I said doesn't apply to you, then why would any be offended? Like I said I'm not trying to flame and I've never (nor will I) attacked anyone in particular about something. I just state my beliefs and views no different than the next is all, and usually someone who grew up soft just gets the feathers ruffled. Thus I guess the name calling might be out of line, but it wasn't directed at anyone here, so I don't see the issue at hand or how that would knock down anything I had to say from the next person.
And to answer the question about militias, as far as I know there aren't any active ones that get good press, but that's because of jocko boy dumb asses like McVeigh (with some added socialist media spin no less) demonized anyone who would be affiliated with one, thus making even the law abiding and non felony holding citizien a little scared to excersize what is their Constitutional right to formation. Having a heated opinion about something doesn't make one automatically a bad person. If that were the case most would be in jail for venting after a hard days work. And for any of you who might be confused on the issue (I doubt it though) the National Guard isn't the militia. If one is drawing a paycheck from the Federal Government, trained, equipped and deployed by them outside of the "Reserves" or Active Military then it's an auxillary force, not a militia. A militia is a formation of American citizens from all ethnic background, creed, etcetera who excersize their constitutional right to form, train and are SOC (Special Operations Capable) to be first responders to a crisis within US borders, properly deputized by the respective county Sheriff within a multitude of "operations" as needed. They are also the last line of defense against enemies both foreign and domestic.
However, with all of the bad press they get, those who haven't done anything wrong, simply don't bother and the idiots out there continue to do things to make people (especially the bleeding heart left) misconstrue the whole formation & overall process. Need has nothing to do with it and it has everything to do with a citizen's RIGHT, extended no less from the 2nd Amendment clause, which shall not be infringed upon, but tell that to the lame ducks in society or the flip floppers who one minute are one way and the next side with someone else.
THAT more than anything else is just gutless.
As to Lord Nikon, I don't know you so how can I make an ultimate judgement? And why would I want to? I merely stated my observations on things and how I feel ultimately betrayed by people who on one hand say (no one in here, in general) they understand things but show no evidence of this when it comes to GOD, Country and Mom's Home Cooked meals. If I offended you or anyone else then hey, for what it's worth and if you'll accept my apology...
"I'm sorry." But I won't apologize for how I feel. Perhaps you and others feel differently for however you came up. And since I've never walked a mile in your boots, I stand corrected and will shut up on that note. And there's nothing wrong with not hunting, I don't get to do much of it myself anymore sadly.
