Oops,I did it again!!!

Not the first, or the second, but the third.
Just found out that BATF has OKed Walther P1 9MM pistols for C&R. Aim has them, so as of a half hour ago, one is on it's way to me. Should be here next week.

I'm TRYING to buy a USFA Double Eagle SA 45 Colt but Davidsons seems to be out of them although USFA sez "Now Shipping". GRRRRRRR! It'll be the 4" model with foo ivory grips. I'm think'n I'll really enjoy owning it if it ever gets delivered.

My new year's gun...

I bought a Taurus Judge Ultralite. Had been carrying a Bond Arms derringer in .45C and .410 and liked the concept.
I wish I had the derringer back and Taurus had a feather, youknowhere, so we would both be tickled.

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the 1911, I got a nice Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec. My first outing it feed everything I had, including some of the old Speer GD 'flying ashtrays'.

A Walther P-22--fun plinking weapon (cheap and fun to shoot). It is also an accurate weapon. In todays economy with gas heading to $4/gallon- I can have fun at the range and not spend a lot of money

Haven't gotten it yet, but it's going to be a Ruger Redhawk in .45 Colt that'll eventually be fitted with a Casull cylinder.

1911

I did the right thing. On the One Hundreth birthday of one of John Moses's most brilliant masterpieces, I just took delivery of an Auto Ordinance Stainless 1911. Better yet, I got a very good deal from one of the members of this forum! BeeQuick, who, as I said is a TFL member sold me the gun I have described above. She is a Beaut! Just a standard fixed sight full size 1911, but I have put about 250 rounds through her, and she hit dead on point to aim at 25 yards with four different 230gr. loads in addition to my "IPSC" loads. She ate everything without a hiccup.
It is just my opinion, but in 2011 every gun owner should buy a 1911 to celebrate the one hundreth birthday of the finest handgun ever designed!:).
I know that there are some poor misguided souls that think that some other gun is the equal, or even better than the 1911, but once you actualy own one, feel the balance, and most important of all, realize how superior the trigger is, then you will come to the alter of John Moses Browning, and thank him for giving us the fruits of his genious:D!! LOL!
Just kidding, but I am a 1911 freak, and do think everyone should one one.
But I do not knock anyones opinion of what they like or think to be the best type.
Willy
