Smith & Wesson M 19-3 4". Won an auction with a high bid of $271.10.
Cons -> Looks like it spent a lot of time in someones truck. Lots of general blue ware, except on the back strap, so I don't believe that it was a cops duty weapon. Came with a set of butt ugly Goodyears.
Pros-> timing and lock up is TIGHT. No push off problems. Slight turn ring. Ejector rod spins dead true. Rear sights are are on for windage (sp) elevation is off some, but nothing that can't be reset.
Spent lots of time cleaning with brass wool and lighter fluid, pulled side plate cleaned and lubed, applied some cold blue. A friend lent me a nice set of magnas. I'm getting ready to order some bonded Ivory magnas and hope to locate a T-grip.
So for less than the price of a new Taurus I have a great shooter grade M-19.
