just wanted to know about other members preference in a striker fired pistol.

And I'm interested in why "striker fired" vs. something else is a consideration.

For the reasons I see people give, the whole "striker vs. hammer" question is a lot more muddled than many seem to think it is.

The OP's list is but a small sample of the number of different 'polymer-framed, striker-fired' pistols Glock's success has brought to the market.

I've tried a bunch, including some not on your list, but for me, nobody builds a better Glock, than Glock.

:D

Well, I only own one. Probably hear a bunch of backlash on this one, but hey, I like it.

Out of an abundance of inexperience with the models on the list, I voted for the one I own: the G19. I've handled & shot a few, but that's the only one with which I have any reasonably significant experience.

I've tried and tried to warm up to both the 19 and the 17 but they are both such dogs when you get out past 12 or 15 yards I don't know. The more I shoot them both the more I shake my head.

Of those listed I only have experience with Glock and Sig. I've carried a Glock as a duty weapon for 22 years. Reliable, durable, accurate enough but never fell in love with it.

My experience with the SIG is limited but really like it much more than the Glock.

My agency has issued the Glock for well over 23-24 years. All officers recently test fired the SIG. When the smoke cleared those with a preference voted for the SIG over the Glock by almost a 2-1 margin.

So tough...

I have a Grey Guns P320F (TacOPS), that I absolutely love as a shooter. But, I also have a couple of Glock 19s - both Gen4, one MOS w/RMR.

There is so much aftermarket support for Glocks, they are like the ARs of the pistol world and I love that about them. Well that, and I can shoot them well too.

My EDC is a 19, but my "joy to shoot", gun on this list is the 320.

Of the choices available I voted PPQ. Of the ones I own it depends. Either a Walther P99 AS or an FNS 9/FNS 9c. All superb pistols IMO. But this may change if I ever get a CZ P-10c. ;)
