favorite handgun cartridges

.45 ACP - target or carry, the .45 is an all purpose round.
.44 Mag. I absolutely love to shoot my Redhawk with my hunting loads. :D
.38 Spl. - Great carry round, but a little anemic in my opinion.
.22 LR. - Cheap, easy to shoot, and will take small game.
 
Even though I carry .357 the most followed by .38spl. ,the .44 Spl. is my hands down favorite. The .45 Colt and .44mag aren't far behind.

When it comes to autos .45acp gets the nod although I am toying with the idea of picking up a .357Sig.

My main criteria is have one of those round silver things in the base of them:D

I'm a .45 ACP guy. For plinking, I like .22LR. For any problem that .45 ACP can't adequately solve, well...that's what rifles are for.
