Hi Folks,

Just curious...what is your favorite .45? I'm caught between the Glock 30 and the Sig 220. But, I'm open to hearing about your experiences....thanks!

I like my 625-4. :D

The two you've picked are good choices, with the Glock maybe being a better CCW piece, and the SIG having the edge as a range/house gun.

My favorite .45 is my CZ97B. My Beretta Cougar 8045 is better for CCW but for pure shooting pleasure and accuracy the CZ gets the nod. I'm starting to wonder why I ever bought the HK USP .45 as all it seems to do anymore is sit in the safe.

My favorite is my carry gun; a '94 vintage Springfield Mil-Spec to which I've added Ed Brown Thumb and Grip safeties & Hammer and a Videki long alum. trigger. It ain't beautiful but it works first time and every time.

I've got three of 'em...

...a Glock 30, HK USP Tactical, and a Wilson Combat Millenium Protector. My favorite's the one I shoot best...the Wilson.

The dinosaur speaks...

A 1911 (not A1) Government Issued Remington UMC. Was once a target pistol, but has been restored to original looking condition. (Except has functional sights, slightly bigger than original.)

Next favorite 45 is a 1917 S&W revolver. It's cut down for ease of carry.

My favorite .45 is my CZ97B. A bit too big for concealed carry, but very accurate and manageable.

My 1911 (Caspian, of course) satisfies me best. Expensive custom gun, awesome performance, accurate and reliable so far.

Oh, and it points naturally for me.
