favorite 44 magnum

Right now my favorite would be any one I could get my hands on

I hear that. Through some smart trades I ended up with a Taurus M44 4" for almost none of my money invested. I originally planned on selling it for a profit but after shooting it today I think I'm going to keep it. I'm no Taurus fan ( hate the crappy company/service and neutral on the actual guns) but this one is a sweet shooter. Of course what I really want is a 4 5/8 "Super Blackhawk with unfluted cylinder though:cool:

M29. I shot a .50-cal Desert Eagle once. If I fell on the right deal on one in .44 and had money in my pocket, I'd probably pick it up. I'm certainly not pining though.

Love my Dan Wesson 44 mag. Easy to shoot and just accurate as my old 357 DW. This gun is kinda new to me and will scope next week. This will go hunting this year in Illinios pistol season .
Rifleman1776 ,,bend that ellbow and let them mags roll with you. Mine is milder to shoot than the 357 is with same barrel lenght. Shooting 240 gr at 1450 fps.

^^^ I have got to get a Dan Wesson before I die. What did they call the stretched-out .44 Mag variety? Was that .445? .44 Maximum? Supermag? I can't remember, but I'd love to trip over one of those some day!

You guessed it, the 445 SuperMag.:)
And yes, it's definitely FUN to shoot!:D

man... i really like malamute's model 29.... wish i could find one just like it. THAT's character....
Could not have said it better!
malamute, that revolver (and rig) looks like it's BTDT a time or two.

Really nice

I had a S&W 29 with 8 3/8's barrel that I would like to have back.Best carry is my S&W 629 4in barrel. My all time favorite 44 mag is my Marlin 1894.I know it's not a handgun but dang that gun is sweet.

Hello all,
I like this Dan Wesson with a 9 1/2" barrel.

It shoots just a sweet as you please, and with a 2 1/2 pound trigger thats even better.

Happy shooting
