Ever regret selling some of your guns?

I wouldn't say I regret every gun sale I've ever made. But I suspect I will at some point in the course of the rest of my life.

only sold one. a hi point 9 mm my buddy offered me 20 bucks less ten i paid for it so i jumped on the deal. although i still kinda wish i had it still for those hiking trips or a hunting side arm when i know the weather won't be nice and don't want to risk any of the other guns. it rattled but it shot every time say what you will

I regret every gun I've sold to date except for the last Marlin 336C I had. They make the lever so that it cuts my middle finger when I fire it. The older ones were never a problem for me.

Guns are commodities

All of you who regret selling your guns, take this advice: Don't sweat it, there are millions of others out there in the modern gun market. You can always get another. I've owned modern guns and currently collect antiques. I over paid for every modern gun and usually got less for it when I sold it. I decided long ago to bone up on antique firearms because that's were the money is for investing. There were some antiques over the years that I wish I had sold for more money, but once they were out of my hands, my life was better because I had more resources for my family and to further my collecting interests. Grow out of the posessivness and attachment if the guns are common. Appreciate those that are not and consider selling them only if you need to do so. After all, you collect and shoot for your enjoyment, but we all must make sacrifices. Don't let it eat you up, you'll go mad and your family will suffer in the process. IT'S JUST A PIECE OF METAL AND WOOD.

first two deer rifles i had when i was a kid i wish i still had now... 375 big bore 94 and a rem model six .06 pump.... got my first deer with the .06 at 575 yards

NEVER

I have NEVER felt regret, the reason, I have never given away, sold, or otherwise discarded any firearm I have ever purchased or come into. The only gun I no longer have in my control was my very first purchase, which was a S/W .38 snubby that was stolen from my APT in Florida. I still have the original police report where I reported it stolen. Just in case anything ever comes from that. Oh and that was in 1992 it was stolen. LOL
