Dream handguns

1) HKP7 M8 target model w/compensator from the factory.

I wish I had purchased it when I first saw it. Man I regret that.

2) Calico Liberty III - I just wished they worked better.

3) S&W 617 - what can you say about this revolver except it is fine piece of work - real quality.

4) Ruger GP100 in 9mm – another gun I wished I had purchased.

5) Umarex / S&W 586-4 .177 CO2 air pistol. Very very unique & high quality air-pistol / revolver. Has the heft and feel of a S&W .357 mag, real double-action / single action trigger. It’s hard to justify spending $270.00 on it so I haven’t gotten one yet.

6) Roughbaugh R9 – with checkered front & back grips, with the full inside & out NP3+ treatment,

A Ruger Single Six Convertible

A Coonan 357

and maybe a Ruger Vaquero - but it would have to be in 357...because if I add another caliber, the list of wants gets bigger. ;)

Would have to go with a couple of handcrafted Art Deco beauties,

Korth 9mm para semi-auto pistol, and,

Korth 45 ACP semi-auto pistol, and

I'd want 2 of each, one for carry and one for range.

dream guns,

my ultmate dream gun would have to be a pair of broomhandle mausers,4"barrels,either caliber,,,,,,and shoulder holsters.....

Dream gun...

A Strahan "Pocket Rocket". In the 70s-80s Travis Strahan created the "Pocket Rocket". It was a S&W small frame with the frame reshaped with his proprietary coil spring action and a .357 cylinder fitted to it.
I had a Model 10 2" that he had installed a Model 19 cylinder in. It was the most accurate and reliable S&W revolver I have ever encountered so I didn't get a "Pocket Rocket" then. Now I want one and can't find one.

Dream Guns

When I was a youngster I dreamed of owning several guns.
1. Colt Goverment .45
2. Colt Python .357 Mag
3. German Luger 9 mm
4. Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag

Now grown-up I have acquired and own
1. Colt Python
2. several Colt Governments in .45 ACP and .38 Super
3. Two Ruger Super Blackhawks
4. Colt Annaconda in .45 Colt

I got other pistols and rifles. But it seams that most of my "DREAM" guns came true.

I kinda want one of everthing but here goes the top picks:
Manurhin MR73
Colt Python 4in. (got a 6)
Mauser Broomhandle (traded mine for a B.A.R, but miss it)
Colt 1903 Pocket .32
Webley Metropolitan Police
Tranter .577
Dixie 20ga. Howdah
Mauser 1910 .25ACP

Oh, and maybe that nice old Browning 3 gun Renissance set with the High Power and the .380 and .25 autos for when I break out the Tux.

Not so much a dream handgun,,,

Just a handgun I dream about discovering someday.

I would like to see someone make a pistol like the old Stevens,,,
A .22 caliber single shot break open action target pistol.

H&R could whomp out one of these in a heartbeat,,,
Market them as a pair of "dueling" pistols,,,
Sell them in a fancy press-board box.

When I was a kid a favorite uncle had two of these,,,
We would sit out back and trade shots at tin cans,,,
Very leisurely shooting times for just pennies.

To be honest I don't know that his guns were the Stevens model,,,
But I'm fairly certain from pictures that they must have been.

I suppose I could buy a pair of Thompson Contenders in .22 LR,,,
But that's a lot of money for capability I wouldn't use.

In this day and age of revived interest in target shooting as a leisure activity,,,
Coupled with the inherent accuracy and low cost of .22 LR ammo,,,
I'm reasonably certain these would sell like hotcakes and fly off the shelves.
