Do you carry a smaller gun for convenience or necessity

I'd say it's a combo of both. I don't dress around my gun (save a cover garment when the weather allows) and I like to be comfortable.

I live in small town and the crime rate is relatively low. I really have settled down to carry my 4 shot COP Derringer in a concealed OBH. It is compact, nice to hold, the weight takes the recoil and with the heavy trigger pull will not ever go off by accident.

For me,,a full size glock22:::15 round magazine and it sits in the small of my back right above my but crack.....its pretty well hidden and I don't worry if im packing snuff punch...its loaded with winchester supreme elite,pdxi.....its a nice jhp, that is issued to FBI agents...the new winchester round expands nicely and let's the attackers hydrolics leak out quikly

Due to a very bad back I carry in a vest. On the left is either a XD40 sub compact, a Sig p250 9mm sub compact or a 3" GP-100 (But with the 357 revolver it's only when there is another coat or jacket over the vest).

On the off side is always my Polish P64 9x18. My BUG.

I travel with a Walther P22 in the Harley. Just so much room for personal effects, but it will still shoot your eye out...

Most of the time I have a P3AT w/CT Laser grips in my pocket holster. Other times I have the XD-40 SubCompact in a IWB holster and always an extra mag.

at the gym I carry a NAA mini revolver in 22 short because any thing else prints way to bad.

Most of the time I carry a S&W 640 in my pocket and the NAA around my neck. IF I am going in a bad area for my job I will all so wear my Coonan Classic in a shoulder holster.

I'm 6 feet tall and skinny; I have to carry either a J-Frame revolver or a subcompact single stack semi (Sig P238, LCP, Bodyguard 380, etc) to actually conceal it. Anything else and it's going to print or show in a wind gust.

I carry either my Colt SAA, a Remington '75 replica or a Glock 22. Most people are oblivious as to their surroundings. I believe that my life is just as valuable in hot weather as cold weather.

Can't shoot mouseguns in .380 or 9mm due to arthritis. I do CC a Glock 26 or a Taurus PT145 as the situation demands, along with a Taurus25PLY belly gun in an Ace ankle holster. 10 rounds of .25 does the trick, I think.

I carry a Charter Arms, 38 Undercover because I'm lazy.

I'd much rather carry my Smith & Wesson 21-4, 44 Special but it weighs about the same as good sized hunk of railroad rail.

I carry my Bersa Thunder 9 most of the time. But there are times when weather/clothing/social situations make carrying a larger gun difficult. Then I switch to my Kahr CM9 tucked in a pocket holster.

Not really - I've been CCW legal for 10+ yrs and mostly carry a 4" 1911 or a HK USP-c. Neither are "full sized" but not a mouse gun either. Since I like my 686 for home use (easier for my wife to grab if needed), I just picked up a 340PD "Wrist Breaker" that I'm planning to carry at times I cant hide the 4" barreled guns.

Carry a 1911. Most of my clothes are loose fit and since I have dun lap disease ( my belly dunlapped over my belt) I don't have to worry about concealment.

When I'm in formal atire I carry a Colt 25acp (baby browning). Better than nothing.

My carry pistol ranges from a 1911 to a 442, depending on clothing and weather. I'm beginning to carry a G27 or EMP 40 most of the time.

S&W mod 60 most of the time is my social gun cause its lightweight and in a shoulder holster when on my motorcycle. Govt mod in 45 or 38 super when going to a known hostile enviorment.
