I think it would sell. To IPSC Production shooters at least.
IPSC Production requires a first shot of at least 5 lbs, rest ad lib.
A highly tuned CZ or TZ is popular because it can be given a reasonably light DA first shot and a quite light SA followup. A Glock that mushes 5 lbs all the time is not as desirable.
Some USPSA shooters have seen what they are doing and have gone the same way. They don't have a first shot pull weight minimum and can set a Glock light but not crisp. The tuned DA SA can be an advantage.
A new design in that vein would sell to competitors and to shooters who read about the Super Squad.
I just wonder how you mean to do it. A 5.01 lb conventional DA would be difficult to attain. Pulls well over that require precisely seated sensitive Federal primers.
I guess you could have something like a LEM or DAK that was a partly precocked hammer with only 5 lb left to fire, but then, unlike those actions, reverting to single action at say 2 lbs.
