concealed carry is a pain!

After manny years of trying .I just figured out smaller is better than nothing at all.Thats why they sell so manny MOUSE GUNS. WHAT'S IN YOUR POCKET?

IWB Appendix carry. I'm 5'8", 165 lbs, and found this to be by far the most comfortable position for me. Usually carry a G26, G19, or S&W 3913.

I have tried everything over the years in the South and it can be difficult, finding nothing is perfect. I had a great IWB rig with a great belt from Ted Blocker. It was fairly comfortable but some days seemed like too much trouble just to run down to the store for a six pack.

I finally have settled on a J frame Smith Airweight in a good pocket holster. It makes it a lot easier to "don't leave home without it".

I carried my Seecamp in the front/right pocket of my shorts for 15 hours straight hours today.....wasn't a pain at all. ;)

Same size as you

Same size as you, and carry a Glock 23. I went through just about every type of holster until I figured out for my build, the only way I could keep it concealed without printing was to wear the Galco "skyops" holster, which is an inside the waistband. I keep it on my right hip -- no problems printing and no issues with the gun showing. Not the fastest draw, granted, but the only people I've ever successfully seen bea ble to carry with an outside the belt holster are, frankly, quite a bit overweight. For athletic folks, the barrel of the gun becomes exposed all the time, which will land you in jail in many districts.

Honestly, I just picked up like 3 holsters in less then a month. I used my b-day as an excuse to call simply rugged and talk to Rob himself! The guy even said that he would include the inside out straps for no charge. I ordered a ready to go cuda for my 345. I can't wait till I get it in

I can possibly understand this statement if you are talking about in a shorts and t-shirt climate carrying a full sized handgun; but, as a general blanket statement?

Maybe you should watch this:

Kyo

I hope that your holster works as well for you as mine do for me! Rob is a great guy and makes a fine holster.

Azak, that video is biased. That kid wouldn't be able to walk at a decent rate. He would be a turtle because if he moved lots of those would fall

Biancchi and Galco make the best belts for concealed carry (I haven't tried a Kramer yet), it is amazing how big a difference the right belt can make

Most people hate it for tactical reasons but I choose to carry along instead of CC in a small fanny pack. It will handle a G36, J frames & similar revolvers. I f you don't like fanny packs there are other ways to carry along like agendas, bags, jackets, bigger fanny packs, ext. It works for me.

Azak, that video is biased.

However, it does illustrate just how easy it is to concealed carry even for a skinny kid; even if he could only carry half or a third with holsters and be able to walk normally, that is still a lot of concealed guns.

And if you didn't read the title, and just looked at him before starting the clip I doubt that you would have ever imagined that this kid was carrying multiple guns, let alone over ten!

Clothing is very important to CC; far more than your "body type". Wear a speedo and your options shrink like a swim in iceberg infested water. Wear loose and layered clothing and you can CC just about anything that you can physically carry, with a good holster and belt.

Concealed carry is about other people not noticing that you are carrying a gun. The more astute observer can notice if you are carrying two wallet shapes in your pants pockets. Is this likely? Not very often. Most folks, if they are bothering to even notice your waistline, would attribute that slight bump as a: cell phone holder, iPod, Leatherman, camera case, etc...

And unless you are foaming at the mouth, look like an escapee from a rubber room, are bleeding profusely, or generally look like you just walked out of a plane crash, most people even if they think you are carrying will just ignore it; chalking it up to LEO, CCW holder, or just not taking the time to care about it considering all of the other things on their daily agenda.

Yesterday I carried a Government sized Colt OWB all day, Simply Rugged holster, just wearing a sweatshirt over a t-shirt, and no one said a thing; and for the record, I have never been called "overweight" at 6' 2" and 240 lbs. "Big/athletic" yes, "overweight" no.
