Chuck Conners must hate Mossberg

Creek Henry

I dont own an AR, what makes this Rifle apealing to me, is the adjustable butsttock, and the chambering. I like the 30 30 cartridge for Youth Deer Hunting, Its 30 Calliber, with plenty of energy for the places I take Young Children Deer Hunting. I like the adjustable Buttstock because it makes it easy to fit the Rifle to the Shooter. I am thinking about Buying one of these, because I have a 7 Year old Son, my youngest, that I think will be ready in another year or two, and this Rifle would take care of alot of problems that I have had in the past.
My Children are varried in age, Ive trained up two Hunters, my oldest Son, and My Daughtor, I would have liked to have had this rifle when I started them, I have had to cut a good looking stock a couple of times. Just looking on the bright side. It would be great if they could just sell the Buttstock by itself, and It could be used when needed. But I think kids would kind of like the rest of the Buck Rogers looking stuff on the Gun.:)

Don't pander to the stupid people because you lose the respect of the smart ones.

Aye, but the stupid ones are SOOOO much easier to part from their money!

Lets compare the age of those who like it to those who don't. I bet they sell a ton.

I'll take that bet. The average age of the three or four who like it is probably 22 and I don't blame them that they don't know any better, I didn't know much at that age either. Next let's compare incomes and ability to purchase. Equals not many sales.

On the contrary: 21 year olds that don't know any better have far more disposable income than folks with kids, multiple car payments, and a mortgage..... and it's not just 21 year olds: I submit to you that there are quite a few 30-something adolescents out there who don't have near the demands on their finances that those married with children do....

Point taken Jimbob.... gnight mary-ellen!

That is undoubtfully the ugliest gun I have ever seen! Haa if I could get over its looks (not very likely) I think it would fill its role pretty well! What's bad about a somewhat powerfull round in a reliable lever action for home defense type stuff that you can mount a light on. then again it is slow to reload!

Like I said before, i really worked to figure out what in heck I would ever need it for.

It might make a good backpack rifle. In .357, it would be good for trappers working the lines, or coon hunters working at night with lights on the rails. You could stick it in saddle backs on a motorcycle, maybe. it would take up a lot less space in a canoe, a trunk, or even a tool box in back of a trunk.

Just in case other states are different, showing up in the woods with anything on those rails but a scope in missouri would be a crime, but I think that coon hunter could get away with it.

I think that the whole thing can be compared to my younger brother, who sort of popped out of nowhere when I was 8 years old. i was visiting my dad, drinking a few beers, while my 15 year old brother mowed the lawn. I remarked to my dad how handy it must be to have a kid around to do his chores, and dad agreed.

he was conceived in foolishness, but if you try real hard, you can find some useful qualities in him.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts on that rifle

One good thing about a tactical lever action is you can top it off as you go. And dont have to mess with magazines. Just a pocket full of shells .
