Yes, just check a few fired brass each time fired, when one feels harder to chamber, check the measurement. I would bet it would measure 2.045 , then bump it back to your 2.043 - 44 range. Now your base to ogive measurements will be more exact. It won't get harder to size when it gets longer, to get a consistent 2.043 will be easier. When the brass is shorter , your all over the place , bumping back is easier. It's a bit confusing at first but you hung in there and got it. Good job, now get that elk.
