Best looking .357 revolver

I don't know much about Rossi guns, but a friend of mine has a 6 shot .38 with a 3" barrel and it sure shoots sweet. Seems well built, reminds me of a taurus in terms of quality and trigger pull.

tlhelmer,
Thats a lew horton- performance center model 66-4 with a 3" magna ported barrel . and houge grips . would you believe this was a detectives gun at one time ??

Here's my favorite. S&W Model 27 w/ 6-1/2" bbl made in the early 60's.

Sorry, no picture. My JPG file is too big for attachment here. You'll just have to imagine the rich high gloss blue that was typical for S&W back in those days.

One of my favorite threads, ever!

Carbon_15: Thanks for starting this. Thanks all of you who contributed images of your own .357's. This is one of the most entertaining and enjoyable threads I have ever gone through on this forum.

OK, I'm going to try this again. I've reduced the size of the JPG file and we'll see if it works now.

This one's kinda nice. It's the original model 27. A Registered Magnum from 1937. :)

I had a model 28 and it was nice shooter and quite handsome, but once I got my 6" model 29 (used but in mint condition), I let it go. want a K or L frame gun now. Like Tamara's Model 13!! ("c'mon, gimme, gimme, I need, I need"---Bill Murray in What about Bob.);)

Well, Let's see...I REALLY like my five-screw, "pre-Model 27"--Thanks, Dewey-!...also like my 19's...four AND six-inch barrels...but the one that says "Revolvers are COOL!!!" when I look at it is the four-inch 686....something about the four-inch, FULL-LUGGED barrel AND the stainless construction is just so...so...so SOLID and BUSINESSLIKE and...well, just plain NEAT!!!...'course, it'd be hard to go wrong with ANY S&W revo, come to think of it....mikey357

686 Plus, with a nice trigger, accurate as all getout.

Dressed for undercover.

It has to be my mid 60s Model 28 6" .357, it's beautiful, strong rugged and very accurate and it's not for sale. ;)
