Best Handgun for Ergonomics

I would go with the CZ75 and Smith & Wesson Model 52 Master for autos then the Model 15-2 Dan Wesson with the Hogue rubber grip.

For me it's my CZ 75B SA. It's as if the gun were custom designed for my hand. I'm amazed, btw, by the number of posters who have cited CZ guns as the most ergonomic. CZ's obviously doing something right.

I am thinking that virtually any handgun can be fitted with anatomical grips, so basically ANY handgun can be the best for you if you choose to set it up that way.

If you are talking target shooting where carrying the weapon is of no concern then adjustable anatomical grips are the way to go.
whatever feels the best for you is what's the best, everybody is different. But something similar to these are going give you the best "ergonomics".

If you need to carry/holster it then at least something like these Volthane Target grips.

Out of my small stable of handguns, the Browning Hi Power with Pachmayr grips wins hands-down. Just feels right.

I to have to say WOW that is a lot of people voting CZ 75! I guess I will 17th the CZ 75 as the most Ergonomic gun for me!

I bought it because of the way it shoots and I will keep it forever because of the way it feels in my hand! I would not be all that surprised if it felt even better with some good after market grips on it?

Medium/small hands again:

Box stock semi: CZ-75,anyRuger P series,SIG 226,KAHR-CW's,SW 3913,BERSA 380's.

Modified semi: 1911-(grip panels make the fit)
SIG-220(short action trigger)
Action Arms 9mm(?Probably FEG.- CZ/HP hybrid perfect with
thinner grip panels)

Revolvers: Ruger SP101+Hogue grips, any Kframe SW with Tyler-T-grips
1858 Remington,any SA colt/clone,old Colt da's

Interchangable back straps will ROCK THE RULES FOREVER,all bets off, even for no fit GLOCKS(yes I tried.)

Jeez - I thought I was the only P99 fanatic here :p

The other gun I purchased based on ergos was a Steyr MA-1 .40

I also like the XDm.

Colt SAA or a close clone, including the Ruger NewVaq. BUT preferrably a pre-WW2 Colt with the lower hammer and slightly smaller overall, or a close clone of THAT such as the USFA Rodeo and it's higher-finish cousins.

To get that same proper lower hammer reach on a NewVaq, you either buy a Montado or "SASS special" NewVaq (with basically SBH hammers already on) or you add an SBH or Montado-type hammer to a NewVaq, like I did. These drop the hammer reach to pre-WW2 Colt (or most USFA) levels.

Ergonomics

Revolver: My lowly Taurus 605.
It has the old style full length grip and fits my hand like a glove.

Autoloader: Nothing in my collection beats my old SW40F Sigma. It is one of exactly five full size service pistols in my collection that fits my smallish hands and stubby fingers!!

I vote for the German P38 (or was it the P40?) Anyway, all you had to do to fire it once the safety was off was simply point and pull the trigger. It was double action, and the long pull means that you don't have to pull back the slide.

COSteve, I've gotta say, that is hands-down one of the oddest looking guns I've ever seen. You use that for competition?
It's clear you've not heard of USPSA 'Limited' handgun shooting.
