Best Handgun for Ergonomics

I never shot a gun that I thought had bad ergonomics uncluding a Glock, and my CZ52. As far as the best? Ohh God, who knows, that's just an opinion.

TBS, the mouse guns are hard to handle in my semi large hands like the Browning mini 25acp, and the Ruger LCP. But those dodn't count IMHO.

Everybody has different hands, so you'll get a hundred different answers. It's like saying what is the best fitting shoe.

For me, it's the CZ 75. Surprisingly the little Kahr K9 has great ergos also.

I've owned well over 100 pistols in my years and can say to date the number one for me is the CZ P-01 and most of the CZ line is excellent. I also like the XD line as well as the FNP series, but the P-01 seems to be in a class by itself as far as fitting my hand.

This is a distinctly personal question as all of us have different hands. For me, its my custom G20/21L because I've gotten it worked to fit my hand perfectly. Wherever I point it, it hits there.

For me its a 5", 1911 ( but not with Hogue grips on it ) .....a nicely checkered CocoBolo is my grip of choice ....

Chris,
You read my mind. I have a CZ-75 and it's by far the most comfortable in my hand. My Kahr K9 is a close second and is my main carry.

Well, it all kinda depends on the individual.

COSteve, I've gotta say, that is hands-down one of the oddest looking guns I've ever seen. You use that for competition?

Again I must say..... whose hands?

I have an "N" frame S&W with the smaller grips. It fits my hand perfectly.

I Haven a S&W M&P 9mm with the smaller grips. That also is very comfortable.

As a mater of fact.. every gun is the most comfortable... for me! Otherwise I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. :)

As much as I hate to admit it...

the Smith and Wesson Sigma VE series fits my hand like it was used as the mold, but I'm hoping the new SD series that came out this month fits even better and I can score one of those in the next couple of weeks!

1911s have to be my least favorite ergos as far as a handguns are concerned, they're even worse than the non-SF Glocks (G20, G21). I do not like the deep, skinny grips on them or the slide release placed so far forward I have to use my other hand to press it.

At first, the Browning Hi Power felt made for my hand, then I made the mistake of picking up a CZ75 at a gun show...things haven't been the same since.

At the top of my "feels best in hand" list, and has for many years, is the Walther P99.

Followed VERY closely by the Steyr Mx-A1

A distant third would be the CZ P-01, that felt better in my hand than my own personal CZ-75b.
