Best and worst looking Wheelie!!

Worst

Here's my ugly duckling. The Guardian Model 1879.

I guess one mans ugly is another's "really cool". I actually like that . It has a really cool "Steampunk" thing going for it. Waspinator is offline Report Post

+1 ! I think this is a cool antique looking gun... But hey, I also thing Rhino has a contemporary, cool look of it's own. So, may be my opinion shouldn't count. :D

That's the first thing that came to mind"steampunk". There are several Victorian era wheelguns that have a certain "look" to them.
Best
My vote would be the Schofield revolver although there are a lot of great looking revolvers, both new and old, that I find very good looking.
Worst
The Nagant, as history rich as it is, it's still ugly. And like the above category, there has been a lot of ugly wheelguns designed over the years.

For me, I think the Ruger Old Army cap and ball is a looker...I know I know its not a "period correct" blackpowder, but I like it.

In cartridge guns I like the S&W Model 66, a working mans gun that can also look quite nice.

As far as ugly goes, the S&W mod 327 will never win any beauty contests. I still want one though.

OK I guess that's what I see. Man, that's the weirdest conglomeration of materials and colors in the world. Dog butt ugly.

I'm surprised no one called out the 327 TRR8 as "ugly"

I personally think it looks nice, clean, and mean . And it's not like you can blue Aluminum, anyway :D (EDIT: when covered with crud hanging off the detachable rails, yes, it starts to look ugly)

For all the folks who think the Rhino is ugly, I defy anyone to draw up a revolver profile with a 6'o'clock barrel that doesn't look "off". If you fill in the "void" above the barrel, the gun looks chunky; if you make it svelt, the prominent sight at the end of the pencil barrel will look (and holster) weird. You can't win. I think Emilio Ghisoni did an extremely fine job making his unconventional revolver designs attractive, or at least "shocking" --but not ugly ;)

Bet you never thought a Mateba looked so normal-sized next to a GP100 (it's lighter, too)

Thank you! Finally a word from someone who thinks Rhino is cool (albeit unorthodox) looking! I personally like the way it looks very much. I held one in the store recently and it feels much lighter than its looks suggest. I wish I could put a few rounds through it to get a real feel... I was told by a salesman Rhino is extremely accurate too. I don't know if it's true or not.

Looking at that taurus that Wapsinator posted is akin to touching your tongue to a 9v battery when you were a kid. You know its not going to be pleasant but you do it any way.
I couldn't help it I looked twice.

442

I like the looks of a stock 442 no lock with the old style Uncle Mikes Boot Grip. Now that is Pure Pocket Wheel Gun at it's finest.

SgtLumpy,

You are the winner. I thought that white/lime green Taurus M85 I posted was bad... but man alive, that is the sorriest looking thing I've seen in a long while.

Who would take a classic S&W and do that and think it looks good, let alone sellable, is beyound me.

And no bids? Shocking.

I like the way the rhino looks. It's unique and unorthodox. But not the prettiest. I'd say I really like some of the s&w 627's I've seen from the performance center.

I thought the lime green taurus was ugly until i saw the GB link. That takes the cake.
