Medusa; S&W model 27 Registered Magnum.....

As for fugly Id opt for the rare Medusa.
It was a German design from the late 80s/early 1990s. It claimed to fire 8 types of handgun calibers: .38spl 9x19mm .357magnum 9mm Largo etc.

As for the best; the Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum .357magnum or the highly rated Colt Python .357magnum.

Ivers & Johnson .32

Here is my Ivers & Johnson .32 acp top break hammerless 5 shot. Near as I can figure out manufacture was @ 1898 - 1899. Came from my grandfather who was born 1898, so must have belonged to his father.
I have never shot it.

best, from my collection... probably an early Smith like this, I think they have nice proportions, deep bluing, & inner beauty with sweet triggers...

worst, is probably those big X frames ( like that 460 XVR posted earlier ) with the long barrels & tactikool rails... something on them just rubs me wrong...

Not necessarily a Model 10,,,
But any 4" k-frame with tapered barrel,,,
And I personally like the non-adjustable sight models.

Eleanor, my Model 12, may be sort of plain Jane,,,
But all of her lines are clean and sleek.

But then there is that Colt Model 1860,,,
That old revolver looks like a gazelle ready to leap.

As for the ugliest,,,
There are no ugly revolvers,,,
There are just those so much prettier than the others.

I don't know revolvers so thoroughly, so I can't give names or models.

However, ones that turn my head are Models like the Ruger Redhawk, the Ruger Alaskan and some S&W such as the 629 and 686. I like half and full lugged barrels. I also enjoy a fine unfluted cylinder two.

At the risk of earning haters amongst the models, I don't like unlugged barrels and the narrow handles of some Smiths that I'd associate loosely with the 1930s types (don't know the models). They do nothing for me and look fragile.... the eye of the beholder and all that.

2nd place worst - S&W Performance center with that tapered underlug. I know some like it. To me it looks like "It's a gun; It's a pry bar; It's a knife and fork"

What is the best and worst looking revolver in your opinion?

Colt Python or Daimondback are the best looking and the worst is the Ruger Super Redhawk, but it grows on you.

The S&W N frame (esp post war 6.5in versions)...finish, proportions, lines, - beautiful (1956 pre 29 44 magnum)

Worst

The Lemat (some are ok) but ESP this model of 1869 - wow fugly. The below revolver is not a part of my collection

(I agree there is a substantial cool factor to the Lemat, but not for its looks)
