It was in the semi auto forum, so lets see it here:

What is the best and worst looking revolver in your opinion?

Best for me is probably a 6" colt python, saaaaweeet!

Worst is Chiappa Rhino!! They just look ugly!

I would love to see your opinions I enjoyed the semi auto forum greatly

For me it’s any N frame Smith & Wesson, if its 44 special its even better. But of my collection this is the best looking one. It’s old, bluing worn in places and nicks.
But it needed a new set of gripes to show off. 1955 target in 44
Worst is Chiappa Rhino but man do they shoot well

For me Model 19 with standard stocks and 6" barrel is probably the best looking one. It has classic lines yet doesn't look outdated....

I don't know why people bashing on Rhino looks. Indeed there is nothing classic about them, but I think they look kind of cool for a futuristic 21st century revolvers. And if you want to see a plain ugly revolver, check one of these out:

Smith M15-8, pinned 4" standard (tapered) barrel, manufactured circa 1970, wonderful polished deep blue, that I bought unfired from an estate. My son and his boys have it now and shoot the hell out of it.

Ugliest? A little EIG .22 (Short, I believe--it's been over fifty years). Complete POS. You could practically scratch the bluing off with a fingernail.

Best looking revolver is probably the pre-war S&W N frame guns.

Worst? I can't say it's the ugliest in the world, but the Russian Nagant has to be close.

Indeed Russian Nagant is not the prettiest guy on the block. But there is so much history behind it, that I would refrain from putting it on the ugliest list. It's like saying that Colt Single Action Army is the ugly duck. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and free to voice it. But some guns regardless of the look demand some respect. Russian Nagant is definitely one of them ;)

mdl.66

I think the early mdl.66 is pretty nice looking revolver.mdl.10-5 is nice also.
(mdl.10-5 1968 ser.# D3 period.)

For a modern look, I really like the sleek flowing lines of my Taurus Raging Bull 44 Mag with the 8 3/4" barrel. For a more classic look, I think the Ruger Vaquero is one sexy six shooter:)

For worst... I'd have to say anything with a snub nose barrel. Just not into em'

I would say the best looking is probably the Colt 1860 Richards Type I cartridge conversion with full engraving and one-piece ivories. Or a full blue Colt SAA 4¾" with engraving and one-piece ivory.

Worst, perhaps the Chiappa Rhino, Nagant or Heritage Rough Rider.

Best: Four inch 38 spl Colt Diamondback (no scratches unlike the Pythons).
Worse: Colt 38 spl Army Special. Old, scratched (character).

Mike, I'll swap you a 4" 38 special S&W Victory that I redid at school for that ugly Python? Mine even comes with plastic stag-horn grips. :D Most markings were removed by Buffing Bob. BTW, I milled out the plug and put the lanyard loop back in it. ;)

I only have one of those hideous Colt Pythons.

I will happily trade of of my prettier guns for one, though.

In the name of charity, of course.

NO CONTEST

BEST=
Colt 1860 Army
Without a doubt, and no competition.

But if it has to be a cartridge revolver, I vote for the Ruger SBH Bisley
7.5" stainless, with laminated grips
