Are You Voting Republican Or Third Party This Year?

Bush must win. Kerry would be a disaster for the 2A. Can you imagine if Kerry got elected and put that big fat blimp Teddy "Chapaquidick" :eek: Kennedy into a cabinent post? :eek:
 
If it's a close election, I may hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evils; if it's not close, however, I'll vote my conscience: Libertarian.
 
Well haven't quite decided between Bush and a third-party candidate yet. I'm not excited by the lack of respect this President has shown for civil liberties; but I do think his grasp of foreign policy is more realistic than the Libertarian platform.

Right now the key factor in my vote is the ban sunsetting. I'm leaning towards the Republicans right now in spite of the civil liberties issue; but if GWB signs a renewal of the ban that will be the straw that broke this camel's back. At that point I will definitely vote other than Republican.
 
Remember when we actually voted for someone instead of against someone else? When I voted for Perot, I remember thinking "Ya done good" when I came out of the booth. What we got from the slit vote was eight years of Billary.

Even though Dubbya is growing on me, his complete lack of respect for the Constitution and the entire BOR is disturbing.

If the AWB expires and the margin of error is the margin between sKerry and Bush, then I vote Bush.


Otherwise, its my conscience for me: Libertarian.
 
Hold the nose. Vote Bush.

Voting Libertarian seems ok, but it's a throw-away, feel-good sort of vote, not real productive for 2d amendment. Bush is no great friend of 2A, but he's not a proven enemy of 2A, like Kerry.

BTW, when are we going to start seeing armed pilots in large numbers like we were promised. So far nothing but onerous conditions for arming pilots have been imposed by the stupid TSA to keep this from happening. Why were our airlines ever disarmed in the first place? That I would like to know. Republicans have been just as guilty as Democrats in this regard. Armed pilots and armed citizens would very well have prevented 9/11 from happening. What say you?

I've got it easy. Utah will go to Bush strong. I can vote my conscience.

But I want all of you swing-staters to think about sKerry and his 100% rating by the Brady Bunch and VPC. And of course Bartholomew has keen insight:

Which is exactly why I am re-assessing the LP platform. Defintely LP on domestic.
 
That's a tough question. I honestly don't think Bush has seen a peice of legislation that he didn't like, and I have definite problems with that. Campaign Finance Reform, Sarbanes Oxley, The Patriot Act, etc..
With a record like that, somedays you need a score card to keep track of the communists and the socialists.

There's no way I could ever vote for Kerry or vote in a way that would put him into office. But if the AWB doesn't sunset, I'll vote Libertarian. I'll probably vote that way any way unless Kerry looks too strong.
