Anyone Else "Done" with Ultra Compact Guns?

Yes, but a world of extremes (either a Blackhawk 44 mag or a Ruger LC9) is limiting oneself to the margins. There is some awesome middle ground in there, offering excellent capability and relative convenience, to choose from and enjoy carrying. ;). Some folks just do prefer to choose the extremes, though.

Yes, the mini-mes have their place, ... provided the cartridge they're chambered for imparts adequate stopping power.

In other words: mini-me pistola = okay; mini-me caliber = NOT okay.

Focus on what's importante, dudenals. You can thank me later. ;)

Feel just fine with my 9mm Shield on my hip.
CZ P09 in the car for road trips.
Like one ofthe previous posts... At 5'8" and trim, I ain't hanging my 1911 or my 6" .357mag off my hip in public.

I don't like having to wear baggy clothes so I just picked up an M&P Shield 9 today. It's accurate and easy to carry and easy to run since I'm new to habdguns

I carry a G17 99% of the time. But last weekend wife and i went to a 50th birthday party of a gay friend and his partner. I did not want any one to notice i was carrying. So I switched to a G26 with a G19 spare magazine in my 3Speed Holster (Deep Conceal)

The picture has my G19, but the G26 disappears on me completely

Skeptical, but not too worried that they're just bad news.

The Walther PPS and some Kel Tec .380 stuff made me feel conflicted, but the Bodyguard, Taurus Curve, and the LCRs and LCPs make me less at odds about the idea that they're a good backup defense.

Particularly in the school of thought that you shouldn't shoot without the whites of their eyes in full view.

But at least two mags or moon clips seem ideal regardless, just in case.

And train even if you are in a Shall Issue state.
