Any decent all steel precision 9 mm semi-auto's out there?

Browning Hi-Power if you can still get them.

I love the Browning Hi Power, but it's far from a precision 9mm target pistol that the OP asked about.

The Browning GP Competition variant would be a good option. I find mine quite accurate.

Some bullseye shooters use the Beretta 92 as the base for their custom bullseye 9mm centerfire guns. See this article:
https://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=426755

I shot at one match, and this one young guy was shooting a Beretta 92 and every target was a ragged hole at the 50 ft. indoor range. Of course he was the winner of the match. I don't remember his name, but he resided at the Olympic training center in Colorodo, so yeah, he was good!:D

"...if there is such a thing..." Nope. At least not for bullseye shooting. No match grade 9mm bullets either. Lot of 9mm pistols suitable for the shooting games though. Try 'em on for size first. A CZ is a BHP clone, but it's not the same size.
"...Browning Hi-Power if you can still get them..." Pop over to Browning's site and search for the High Power 'Current Production'. Only the 40 S&W BHP has been discontinued.

The CZ 75 is no BHP clone. Far from it...

Some would disagree.
Tony Kidd and David Sams are at least two custom gunsmiths who specialize in the Beretta 9mm for the bullseye competitions.
Here is from a post on the Smith forums showing the accuracy of Sam's work:

" Load for the 9mm Service Pistol

Here is a 9mm load that David Sams has been using for testing Beretta 92 barrels and his completed guns that has been proven sub 1.5" groups at 50 yds is as follows:

* Starline brass
* 115gr Hornady FMJ-RN bullet
* 6.0 - 6.2gr Alliant Power Pistol powder
* Rem #5 1/2 SP primers
* O.A.L. -- 1.120" no-crimp

Out of a barrel test fixture using Bar-Sto barrels groups have consistently run between .975" to 1.5" averaging about 1". Through David's completed 92F's, he claims that they have been running 1.3" - 1.5" as a reminder these are hand-loaded.

For a 9mm, about as good as you can get."

The CZ75B is all steel, full size, and mine at least is very accurate. The double action trigger pull is very nice but the single action pull was rough (grating and catchy) until I did a little work on it. The sights are mounted low to the slide and are adequate for most. I like bigger sights and was going to get them but I have grown to like the factory sights.

What are these superb pistols going for now (in new or as new condition)?

$2500 +/-

The P210 and the S&W 952 are the only real contenders that come to mind. A tuned 92FS can work but not right out of the box.

CZ 75Bs & BHPs, except for a Browning GP Competition, will not cut it IMHO but then again you have to be able to shoot the pistols to or beyond their limits which I certainly cannot.

Anyone serious about the S&W 952 should try before they buy, or at least hold one.
The ergonomics are unusual and didn't work for me. Does not feel like a High Power or a CZ or 1911.

Wilson Combat makes a number of their 1911's - in 9mm - with 1" guarantees at 25 yds.

I would recommend a 5" Wilson....CQB or Protector models ...in 9mm / I have a full size, 5" protector, all stainless that has been one of the best guns I own for last 11 yrs...( $3K - $4K) depending on options you pick.

My cz sp01 custom shop is a lot more accurate than I am. I can shoot it under 2 inch at 25 yds. My friend, who is a competitive slow fire revolver shooter can shoot it well under 1 inch.

My SA Range Officer 1911 chambered 9mm is by far the top precision handgun in my fleet of 9's. Can't get much more precision for $750 "out of the box"
