Am I just a huge dork or...

My wife's .357 mag carry gun is called "Snubby", my Lone Star .30-06 pistol is called "Boomer", my Astra Cub .22 short is called "Noisy Cricket".
The rest of my guns, (63 of them in my collection), have no names other than the factory assigned nomenclature.

Lady Smith already came with a name, no need to change it.

I have Miz Glock.

Then I have a Mossberg, Bonnie. That's after being told by two different people "you look like something out of Bonnie & Clyde" holding and/or shooting it. Well, I'm not changing my name, so it's the Mossberg that's Bonnie.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but don't Marine snipers have female names for their rifles? Yah, those guys are dorks...

call me what you will i only have one with a name. the "green machine". not many 223s come factory green that i know of. even in this old mans hands it can be real nasty at times.
 
I didn't so much need an answer to the dork question (rhetorical anyone?). I know exactly who and what I am, and don't need anyone's input on that. I'm not sure I understand the level of vitriol that this post has spawned in some, but if so many are so against the naming of a pistol, then...well now I gotta name it:p. I think I'll call it Raven, because it is black and brings death. Also, ravens are the only birds known to fly towards gunfire rather than away. They've learned that hunters leave behind what, to them, are the best bits.
