Armslist is good in theory it just doesn't deliver. I've sold a few guns on Cal-guns and one on here. I typically post the gun I want to sell and get a bunch of offers fairly quickly. I tried to sell a rifle on Armslist, got one offer that was very low and it took about 10 days for that to trickle in. It's nice to see any expansion in the gun industry, I just think they really don't have the traffic needed to compete with other sites. I wish them luck but I'm gonna stick with what works already.:D

This thread inspired me to join The Firing Line - I'm old enough to remember another Firing Line, a great TV show with William F. Buckley - I miss it!
I just discovered Armslist and thanks to this thread discovered SwapGiant.
I have done most of my collecting with GunBroker and AuctionArms and have been very happy with them but I welcome any new venue that lets me know what is out there.
Please be sure to check the "Services" catagory at the bottom of Armslist for FFL holders in your area that accept firearms transfers. One member noted that Armslist was bigger in the midwest than near him but he can buy in the midwest if he does so through his local shop or FFL holder.
I wonder how firearms did on "CyberMonday."

Site looks good. Lotsa stuff in CO.

The problem I see is that one of you is going to show up with a firearm; and the other is going to show up with cash. Bad things could happen.

The best thing to do is tell the guy you will meet him at the PD in your/his town and see if they show up. If they do, take the sale to another public place where you can make the exchange. The PD will not allow you to bring the firearm onto the premises regardless of how honest and law abiding you are (small towns with cool local officers excluded).

Well looking at the prices on the HK P7M8 pistols they have there - the value of mine has apparantly gone up a few hundred dollars since January.
