.45 super anyone?

I have used Remington 185 +P, in my .45, and that seemed to be plenty for me. I don't foresee any Big Bad Wolf taking one to the chest, and laughing it off.
That round makes a very respectable hole in wet newspaper. But, to each his own.

Well there is thing called "ghetto body armor", so there's a distinct possibility you might want use something will penetrate better.

For me it worked out great out of a Glock 21 (3rd gen) with a tungsten rod and a 22lb recoil spring. I had to put stiffer springs in the ammo mag.

45 Super is available as factory ammo although pricey. I don't shoot it often, so not a prob, for me it is for woods carry.

Actually, for my 13 round magazine that I use for woods carry and 45 Super I put in a +2 round extension, then put in TWO mag springs in the mag. The extra magazine spring reduces the capacity from 15 back to 13.
