3 must own handguns?

1) Ruger Single Six .22lr/22mag 9.5" barrel
2) Ruger Blackhawk .357mag/9mm 6.5" barrel
3) Ruger SP-101 .357mag 3.06" barrel

If I had to restrict myself to "only" 3 of my guns. Those would be my choices.

My 3 must have faves ---

- S&W 22-4 4" barrel 45 ACP. An update of the old WW1 era S&W M1917, easily recognized as the carry of fictional character Indiana Jones. Accurate, quick reloading moon-clips, can double as a trail gun with handloads or Buffalo Bore ammo.

-- SA Micro Compact 1911 3" barrel 45 ACP basic milspec. A great EDC, small but heavy...there are lighter-weight versions available. Oddly enough, the small size is easier to shoot accurately than the 4" barreled Commander size or the 5" barreled full-size.

--- Walther PPK 3.3" barrel 32 ACP. Made famous as the carry of fictional character James Bond. Simply the best CC pistol ever, designed circa 1929. Makes an average shooter an excellent one. Accurate and powerful enough to get out of trouble with. Still in production. Amazing.

Check your 6.

If you can master a double action revolver trigger pull, then anything in single action should be a piece of cake.

1) S&W K-Frame
2) 1911
3) Anything in .22

This is pretty close to my way of thinking. Maybe a N-frame.
