.22 handguns

My favorite is my father's Browning Challenger. He bought it new in the late 70's, came with the pistol rug and two barrel set.

The favorite of the ones I own, would be my RUger MKIII 22/45...........cause its the only one I own :)
 
When I head out to shoot a 22 handgun, I choose a Ruger Mark II and a Smith & Wesson Model 17. Used to be a Colt Diamondback but have generally moved them into the seldom shoot catagory for now. I usually recommend a Ruger Mark II or III, Browning Buckmark, Smith Model 17 or 18 (or 617), or if you want a single action, the Ruger Single Six.

I suggest that you purchase well made firearms the first time around.
