If a mad gizzly is charging you, you aren't going to get a 2nd shot that counts no matter what you're packing, so the first one better be big and it better hit its mark and count (meaning in his brain). The 10mm magazine capacity will be about as useful as a gob of fresh goose crap on a pump handle, not worth much if the bear is busy eviscerating you or chewing your arm off while you pepper him about the torso. You are almost guaranteed to be miles from help, and certainly not an ambulance, so unless you stop that bear before he gets to you, you are most likely going to die of your wounds.
