10mm Bug

Got to re-introduce a buddy/brother and introduce his adult son to the 10mm with my G20 and some moderately strong reloads a few days ago. Both loved it. May have some converts.

The fact is that each of us makes our own decision on what we use. If the 'kitten' is not a fan of the 10mm, then that's his right. The fact that he tries to justify his choice by running down the 10mm with falsehoods and BS leads me to believe he's a bit jealous of those who use it.

Why does he care so much that someone likes a 10mm? Maybe it's just too much for him to handle. Maybe he's got some sort of 'envy' going on. Who knows but it's interesting that haters try so hard, are so virulent in their hate that they spend countless hours trying to convince people who have something that it's wrong to have it.

"Don't know that you need double stack or high capacity, the bear will get you before you can fire 8 rounds"

Good point.
Who says the bear will get your gun arm?

Or even that it will knock the gun away??

Keep shooting until the bear leaves you alone.
If it's dragging you around with your left arm in its mouth,
you can still keep shooting as long as you keep a grip on your pistol.
There's a reason for Lanyards in the field.

Glocks grip, even the new ones, still sucks.
Try an EAA Tanfoglio Witness 10mm...it's SO much better!
Similar in price, not as many aftermarket fangdoodles to buy, just a great pistol.

If a mad gizzly is charging you, you aren't going to get a 2nd shot that counts no matter what you're packing, so the first one better be big and it better hit its mark and count (meaning in his brain). The 10mm magazine capacity will be about as useful as a gob of fresh goose crap on a pump handle, not worth much if the bear is busy eviscerating you or chewing your arm off while you pepper him about the torso. You are almost guaranteed to be miles from help, and certainly not an ambulance, so unless you stop that bear before he gets to you, you are most likely going to die of your wounds.
