Your "some day" gun?

Since my wife bought me a P7 for my birthday, my NEW someday gun belongs in the shotgun section; otherwise, a 3" S&W round butt 547 9mm without the need for moonclips

Thompson machine pistol with a hundred round drum on it.

:D

"Yea,swear to God,it's a pistol!" :D

Actually I'm leaning towards a Desert Eagle stainless in 50 ae. or 44 mag caliber for the "some day" gun.

Although a Dan Wesson 44 supermag revolver pistol pack all heavy barrel shrouds in stainless would suffice as well.

+1 for a P210, got to handle but not shoot an almost pristine one in Phoenix at Mandalls way back when. The thing was dripping with quality and class. You really have to handle one to believe it. I believe the one I saw was actualy a Dutch? cops issue gun. Worth every penny but waaay out of my price range.

If I go Gunsmithing School in May I plan on building myself what I believe, for me anyway, will be the ultimate carry gun- A high end 1911 with bells, whiltles, and the whole kitchen sink!

Either one of these guns:. 500 JRH Remove scope on the Ruger

I'd love to have an around the house gun in .500 JRH.
Likewise a Gary Reeder BFG, in .500 Linebaugh Maximum to match this gun:

How about a 500 S&@ snubby:

Glock 29, if I find one cheap.
BFR .475 likewise.

I have a huge list of someday guns.

But I have to admit that the SIG P210 came to mind first as the most unattainable.
They are like an X5 with extra style and personality points. :)
If someone would mail one of those to me a piece at a time, that would be OK

I really want my grandfather's German Luger, but he has already given it to my uncle (who will probably sell it some day and has no kids to pass it on to :( ). I would also like a US PROPERTY marked WWII 1911 in all original condition.

Don't laugh

My ideas aren't as Lavish or rare as some others...

I'd just like a Mint condition Stg.44:D

Or a Mint Condition Russian made original 7.62x54r Type 79 Dragunov:D

...Whoa... Yeah, that'll about do it...

WHOOPS

Just realised which forum i was in...

I'd like to change my answer to...

The pistol my Great Grandfather was issued in WWII.

Don't know what it was. He was a Sergeant and was Deployed in Africa and was Dive Bombed by Stuka's one morning. Long story short, he woke up at 5:45 A.M. after making his platoon dig trenches all night, and thought "I'm gonna let my platoon sleep in a bit today" but then thought "No i should get em up and going" 5 minutes later he heard the distinctive thump of stuka's. They Dove "head first into those 5 foot deep trenches" and when they'd gone by he got up and noticed his pillow, and the tent's of his men had been rittled with bullets. He'd saved himself and his whole platoon by being a "Hard ass"... He Died of a Heart attack a few months ago. He didn't keep his issued pistol of course, but i'd sure love to have the gun that his white knuckles were wrapped around that day... Would really mean alot to me.

I have one left to get

The LAR Grizzly.

I have Auto Mags, a Coonan, Desert Eagle, and Wildey. The Grizzly is the onlny one needed to compelte my set.:D

So, let him know you're interested and start saving up.

My holy grail would be a pair of Bren Tens: a Military/Police (full sized black) and a Special Forces Dark (compact black) in 10mm only.
http://www.bren-ten.com/website/id13.html
They come up every few years, but I can't justify the ~$2500 each price tag.

I would be (almost) satisfied with the upcoming Vltor Fortis.
http://vltor.wordpress.com/
I should be able to get both for less than the price of one genuine Bren Ten. But, guess which two models they're not making? Hopefully they'll introduce them later, or I could at least have the full sized frame refinished in black. The compact ones will bow as .45 A.C.P. only.

Unrealistically, I wish I could have one of the very few Thompson machine guns they made in 10mm, but I'd settle for a H&K MP5/10. :p

The SIG P 210 : Rare ? Pricey ?
You judge :
I bought mine (P-210-6) together with a S&W 6" K-17, both in excellent condition, for 400
Euro for both .
..... and trust me, everything else you heard about the P-210 is true.
