Your First Gun . . . and Your Next One

My first gun was a .45 Colt Combat Commander. I bought it when I turned 21. My parents never had any interest in guns, so I had to pretty much go it alone.

My next gun will probably be a Ljungman AG42B. Not sure why, but it intrigues me.
 
This is my rifle, there are many like it, but this is my rifle.My rifle is my best friend- M-16.

Next one? Navy Arms, Winchester 73, Border Patrol Model, blue/case hardened receiver, 18" Octagon barrel.

First gun: like some earlier posters, one of Remington's "nylon" rifles, but a Nylon 76 (lever action). My grandfather gave this rifle to my brother and me. We shot it till it wore out. I think my brother still has what's left of it.

Next gun: Colt's Compensated Competition Match Target HBAR. So far this is the only post-ban AR at the local gunshop that's generated enough warm fuzzies in me to consider buying it.
