The G19 has to be one of the best pistols ever created. I love the 17, but the 19 fits my hand much better. It's accurate, concealable, durable, 9mm cheapness to shoot, etc. I'd have to say the 26 is pretty high on the list as well.

But if I was limited to one pistol, I think the 19 would be an excellent choice. Thank goodness I'm not.

I know this might sound weird to some people but the reason the G34 is my favorite Glock is because FOR ME it is the closest in overall size and handling characteristics to a 1911. Overall length/sight radius are fairly close between my DW 1911 and my G34. The 'slightly better than a regular Glock' trigger and softer recoil are just an added bonus.

I thought I would post this up since I have to refer to it so often when talking about Glocks:

With so many models and nothing to distinguish them other than their numbers it can get quite confusing. This is the line up from the American page of course.

G21 Hell yea!

I voted for the G21. This is my go to gun and if the world fell apart tonight and I could only have one Handgun the G21 would be it. I shoot it in matches and it is flawless in function. When I say i shoot I mean I shoot it, over 8,000 a year. I have a Dillon 550 set up just for it. I have done some stuff to it but out of the box it was a fine gun.

I have a G30SF that I use for HD(It has a light on it) it a good gun feels good in the hand.

My G26 is my CCW gun, this is my second most favorite Glock.

Yea I like Glocks, I have other guns, some more accurate, most better looking but I like my Glocks and IMHO the G21 is the best of the best.

Mine is an old Gen 2 gun one of the 1st to come out, I cannot remember when I got it but I believe it was 91. I would say it has maybe 60-80,000 rounds through it and has never had a part replaced except the initial mods I did to it myself. I detail strip it and clean it every time I change the oil in my truck(Twice a year). After each range session or match I clean and oil it. It is kind of ugly and beat up looking but man does it run. After I cannot even guess how many draws from 3 different holsters I have had for it the finish is getting kind of thin. My Old Colt 1911 that I used to shoot in IPSC with is silver on the nose of the slide and it has maybe 1/2 the rounds through it the G21 does. I wish they made one in 38 Super:D

Merry Christmas......................Sam

"Favorite Glock" -- That's sorta like standing in the lumber yard and saying, "Pick out your favorite 2" X 4" . . . "

Glock has all the allure of an unadorned bowl of grits -- no butter.

I like the G20 and G29. The 10mm Glocks are really the only ones that offer something you can't get anywhere else. That is a lot of firepower from a handgun, enough so that even as I have grown to appreciate the SIG and 1911 for their ergonomics, I keep my G20 around even when it doesn't feel as right in the hand as it used to.

Left out one of the best

My favorite Glock isn't listed. My G36 is definitely one of my best. It is light, easy to conceal, AND .45 ACP. What else could you want?

80,000 rounds through your Glock? Holy Cow! That's more than I've ever heard of through any gun. Running bulk factory ammo that would cost you over $26,000 in ammo alone!

Better to have a bowl of grits with no butter than a bowl of Captain Crunch with maggots! :D They may not look the prettiest to some (I love the look of them) but they function perfectly and take a beating, and the finish on the metal is second to none. I wish I could get my Para-Ord 14.45 in the same non-scratch Glock finish, especially on my silver barrel that sticks out like a sore thumb on my combat model.

I voted Glock 21 because it's the only Glock that I'll ever have, 45 ACP full capacity. To stop a guy you have to shoot him three times with a 9 mm or once with a 45 ACP, take your pick. :D By the way, you forgot the Glock 36 slimline 45 ACP in the voting survey.

I like grits too . . . w/ raisins and brown sugar, not "plain Jane."

When I was a kid I had a CHEAP plastic dart gun -- the kind that shoot the rubber, suction cup darts, with a spring. When they're new, you shove the dart down the barrel and it locks into a hook on the other end of the trigger. After a while the darts and the hook wear down, and the darts won't "cock" in the gun any more. CHEAP . . .

At any rate, cheap plastic dart gun for kids. It had a cheap plastic trigger mechanism that feels EXACTLY like the spongy crapola on the Glock.

Blocky, top heavy, front heavy, poor grip ergonomics, spongy trigger. Don't get me started about the over-bored chamber and under-cut feed ramp.

Google: "Glock kB"

GOOGLE: Results 1 - 10 of about 279,000 for "Glock kB." (0.17 seconds)

G26 got my vote. It conceals better than the G19 and I find it accurate. 10 + 1 rounds of +P 9mm hollow points should stop/deter any social problems I confront.

After many weapons...this is now my CCW.

As mentioned above, the G36 is not on the list. And an excellent gun. Too bad that more companies don't do the single stack.

I like the 29 (10mm) and 36 (45 subcompact slimline).

I used to own a 21 but sold it... didn't like the grip or the size. Only ones I'd consider ever again would be the above two just for their unique market niches.

Max, 279,000 Google results does not indicate 279,000 incidents. It just means that a few incidents have been babbled about for 279,000 times on the interweb.:D

You just made it 279,001! I guess that means they must be more dangerous now than they were a minute ago.

I voted for my G20, but it was a hard decision. All mine have their own niche, but the 20 is my most accurate and it IS one major handfull of whoopass!

Max, Where are you from? You put Salt, Pepper and Butter on Grits;) They are made from Corn, No one puts raisins and Sugar on corn.

The cool thing about a Glock is you can dunk it in Grits and it will still fire. You can even use it as a spoon to eat grits with(Just ensure it is unloaded first).:D

I had one of those toy pistol too. I practiced with a lot when I was kid that must be why I can shoot a Glock so good now.

Someone needs to post the Glock10commandments picture. I love that one.

Ok I will stop the feeding

I voted G-17.It fits my hand better than all the other models I've bought then traded away and it fires light recoiling, fairly inexpensive 9mm ammo.I really wish the G-19 fit my hands because it hides easier.YMMV.tom.
