Will you just hand over all your firearms if police ask for it?

Just to know the facts of me. I'm a gun owner who know's some of his rightes and if they came to my house and asked me for my prized possions I would treat them as all of my prized possions including but not limited to my GI Joe's Yes I oun but NO you cannot have.

That's just the way it way it is. If the Government trys to take my right away they will have a Non pervolked war on there hands no questions asked.

Nope!

I've got two cops living directly across the street from me, and we've had discussions about firearms, ranges, etc. We're on very good terms. If one came over here and asked to borrow one, I'd probably let them. Since they're Glock-o'philes, they'd probably have no interest in my wheelguns, et. al.

If a cop were to come here and demand that I surrender all of my guns, then things would get ugly.

one of my co-workers at the PD had almost 400 different firearms. they'd need a frickin' moving van.

not only would i not turn over my guns, but i would never forcibly take someone's guns just because.

I'd like to get ahold of one of those "blackhead guns" and fill it up with a year or two's worth of facial pus and keep it on hand to surrender if they come a-callin'. :D

Guns?

Sorry, I sold them in State at a gun show. All I have is an old laser I made. The [Leos] should refuse the order as unlawful. I personally would stand behind them if they refused. Then we go and arrest the person who gave the orders. The second amendment shall not be infringed especially in crazy times. The whole neighborhood would surround them and disarm them. We already have made the plans and practice them regularly. That would be a very sad day in our history if that were to happen. We do not recognize the patriot act, sorry.

I'll go around and ask people if they have any guns they need to turn in. That's as far as I'll go if ordered to "confiscate guns from the citizenry." If that's not good enough for the higher-ups, I guess I don't need that job too much. "Here's my issued service weapon, sir, I have no others"

That's a pretty good one I hadn't thought of. That would probably be my first response. Hopefully they would move along. :)

I doubt that new law will do squat. If they came for your guns they will come in large numbers and search through everything since its not going to be a "be nice and hand in your firearms" sort of thing. They tend to know how to search quite well to find these things do and you try and resist they do a Ruby Ridge or Waco on your arse. Wait till one or two important politicians get shot at in a crisis situration or some police and they will go overboard all over again.

Ok they can search my house without a warrant, I will sue and become rich and they wont find any guns, unlees of course they go through the yard with a metal detector.:D

Officer, they all are at the gun shop having work done on them and I haven't had a chance with this problem, to retrieve them.:D

NO!!!
As far as I'm concerned, they can use their personal stash/collection. You know, the ones that never make it to the 'auction' or the 'destroy pile' when someone's been arrested on a bull**** charge.

"Officer, I sold them all at a gun show years ago. Never liked the damn things anyways. I think one of the guy's names was Jim, if it helps."

This comes up alot on threads with the gun confiscation issue. It would be hilarious if cops went in a neighborhood asking for guns and got THE SAME ANSWER as above from every gun owner!:D :D :D

I will never voluntarily hand over any of my property to any government official. They will have to shoot me.

Wow...that's pretty bold. Is any property really worth you life? Family, friends, some freedoms we enjoy, perhaps liberty....yes, defintely. But property?
