Revolvers die??? Don't say that anywhere near Jerry Miculek if you want to go on living! I remember when I first met him. I'd gone out to Clark Custom Guns and was talking with a gunsmith there about an action job on a S&W 66. I heard a burst of six rounds of full-auto fire, short pause (less than a second, IIRC), another full-auto burst of 6 rounds, short pause, another burst... I asked the gunsmith who was firing full-auto on the range, and what was he shooting? He burst out laughing, and took me out to meet Jerry, who was practising for his world record attempt (successful, as you doubtless know). This was in 1998, IIRC. Jerry still astounds me every time I see him perform... If you want to take the world's best semi-auto shooters, and put them on the same range as Jerry with his moon-clip S&W revolvers, I don't think I'll take any bets about the outcome...
