ALL of the members of a court are necessary for justice. Even juries and defense lawy
I agree, everyone needs a lawyer, but the guy already had several. Ramsey Clark, a former Attorney General of the United States under a left wing regime, didn't go over there to "defend" Saddam, he went over in order to "represent" him, and assist him to lob additional slanderous accusations at the United States government, and our military personnel.
(Much like John Kerry last Sunday on "Meet the Press" when accusing our troops in Iraq of terrorizing children, or the patriot Howard Dean, in San Antonio this week telling the world that our highly trained, dedicated soldiers, are being beaten by a bunch of terrorists, and that we cannot possibly win.
If we in fact lose to terroristic actions, it will not be the fault of our troops, it will be the fault of our "representatives" encouraging the enemy to keep killing us.
It is strange though, that Ramsey Clark had no problem when Clinton's justice department sending guys with automatic rifles in full combat gear, to snatch an eight year old child from family members, so they could turn him over to a Communist Dictator. Why weren't the Democrats concerned with scaring kids back then I wonder?
Anyway, Clark cannot "defend" gassing three thousand innocent people in one day, or defend him for the murders of thousands of others.
He can only "represent" him. And he, along with the majority of the Democrat party, seem to be doing it well.
