Why the HELL is our former Attorney Gen on the Saddam Defense Team??

Well we have a once was front page lawyer here. Once they taste that they will do anything to relive it. Television cameras and a high profile criminal will have people like Ramsey Clark in the forefront trying to regain their former self importance.

Ramsey Clark/Volunteer

Ramsey Clark volunteered to go and help Saddam Huessien in his defense for killing thousands of innocent civilians.

Nothing like a little Pro Bono work, to prove that you are "giving back" to society.

Now if Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer, Al Sharpton, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, John Kerry, (and the latest political genius they placed in charge of the DNC) would all volunteer to go over and help Saddam directly (rather than to do it from our homeland) the United States would be better off. At least they would all be out of the country at once.

he wants to get him off because he thinks Saddam is a victim of the bad guys, to wit, the USA.
I would enjoy seeing something to justify this statement. I already asked for a quote, but that would be too hard, wouldn't it.

I do like the notion that Clark's lack of pro-US defense is proof of his complicity. After all, the US doesn't have enough lawyers in its employ, and would REALLY benefit from another one.;)

ALL of the members of a court are necessary for justice. Even juries and defense lawyers, no matter how much you hate them.

If any of you ever end up in court over a righteous shooting, hopefully you'll select your attorney based on his competence in defending ANYONE, rather than his high moral standards in taking only the most obviously innocent clients. Guess one is a better advocate for you and JUST verdict?

I agree, everyone needs a lawyer, but the guy already had several. Ramsey Clark, a former Attorney General of the United States under a left wing regime, didn't go over there to "defend" Saddam, he went over in order to "represent" him, and assist him to lob additional slanderous accusations at the United States government, and our military personnel.

(Much like John Kerry last Sunday on "Meet the Press" when accusing our troops in Iraq of terrorizing children, or the patriot Howard Dean, in San Antonio this week telling the world that our highly trained, dedicated soldiers, are being beaten by a bunch of terrorists, and that we cannot possibly win.

If we in fact lose to terroristic actions, it will not be the fault of our troops, it will be the fault of our "representatives" encouraging the enemy to keep killing us.

It is strange though, that Ramsey Clark had no problem when Clinton's justice department sending guys with automatic rifles in full combat gear, to snatch an eight year old child from family members, so they could turn him over to a Communist Dictator. Why weren't the Democrats concerned with scaring kids back then I wonder?

Anyway, Clark cannot "defend" gassing three thousand innocent people in one day, or defend him for the murders of thousands of others.

He can only "represent" him. And he, along with the majority of the Democrat party, seem to be doing it well.

Saddams trial

I just hope they let him swing from a post soon or the lib's are gonna start seeing him as ''some poor old man'' and start feeling sorry for his murdering ass. And to the person that is saying all the crap about the U.N. and NATO you apperently havent watched any news since the first time we went over in that part of the world in 91. I dont know where you have been but since then the U.N. has been exposed as a bunch of irrelevent, corrupt thiefs. And as far as justice goes for the Husseins, those two things that grew out of the tiolet when Sadam forgot to flush it one day got justice all right, meaning Uday & Qusay. I guess Hitler deserver a fair trial too huh? If anyone wants to be fair with Sadam it would only be in order to use his own, homeade justice system, you know, the system that uses giant wood-chippers.Fairness is as fairness does in this instance. see ya

They should have shot Saddam in the rat hole, the little _____. Does he deserve his day in court? He's not an American, they didn't catch him in America. He's already proven guilty beyong the shadow of ANY DOUBT. If you doubt it, you're a fool or a liar. No beating around the bush. Saddam isn't protected by OUR constitution. Firing line him. Did you see him in court scorning the judge? Bind and gag his tyranical, murdering ___ and try him.

As for Clark, are you really THAT FOOLISH to think that he's doing this to help America? Open your eyes sheeple! Go research Clark, research his cases, his ideals...then tell me he's helping our country. Oh, what a great man!! :barf:

This poor country is so far from what it was designed to be, the people so far removed from reality. Our government truly is just a reflection of the people. It's a hard reality to come to grips with.

edit:

rant over...I'm just coming to grips with where our great country is headed, to where our country is at this point for that matter. The day is coming where we will all say, "our once great country." :(
