Which one would you 'bet the farm' on?

Semi-auto handguns... S&W 3906 or 908S; never a malfunction with either. Smith made a mistake dropping their steel/alloy autos as a product line.

Revolvers... Ruger SP101. No question, no contest; that is my "if you had to choose one gun" gun.

Rifles... Mini-14. Eats anything and everything, never quits. Dirty but reliable (and I got one of the accurate ones, too) and easy to work on.

Shotguns... Mossberg 500/590. Dead simple and unfailingly reliable.

I have 3 that have never failed for any reason and I do not expect them ever too.

Beretta 92 FS (IMO the greatest gun ever - hehehe ... I have 2 that have both been 100%)
Stoeger (Beretta) Cougar 8000 (my personal and home defense gun that I 100% trust mine & my families lives too)
Smith & Wesson 5906 (the most rugged gun I think I've ever seen)

If I had to pick the 1 most robust of them all, it's probably that Smith 5906. What a masterpiece.

My Makarov and my CZ-52 are the only ones that have never had any kind of failure. Not pistol, magazine, ammo related or otherwise.
