Which one would you 'bet the farm' on?

I know we all have our favorites, but do you have a firearm that you are 110% confident will not malfunction (barring a major mechanical or ammo failure)? Semi-auto's in particular. I have an AR that is my favorite to shoot but short strokes now and then. Even my high-end AK has had it's share of hiccups. Of all my firearms, the only one that has been stone cold reliable is my POF P308. Does anyone else have an 'Old Faithful'?

My S&W model 64 and my Ruger Security Six. My Charter Bulldog has also been reliable, with the exception of some cylinder gap trouble that was fixed. If you're looking for 110% it's hard to beat a revolver.

A toss between my Mosin-Nagant 91-30 and my NEF Handi-Rifle in .270 Winchester. The only two firearms I honestly expect to go 'bang' everytime with decent ammo. Every other gun I own has had some sort of minor malfunction.

My Fal has never had a hiccup after almost 5000 rds. I attribute it to the wonderfull adjustable gas system it has. Wish i could say the same about my AR10. Oh and all my centercfire bolt actions but that is to be expected of modern bolt guns.

My Glock 33 has never failed, over about 800 rounds. That's certainly not "a lot" but it does consist of FMJ and HP factory ammo, handloads from popgun to beyond max, 3 different barrels, and two different recoil springs.
Beyond the Glock, my Encore is perfectly reliably and it would be pretty hard for it NOT to be.
I can't recall my 10/22 ever failing either, except the VERY occasional dud.

My HK USP .45. That thing is 10 years old now and it looks like its only just getting warmed up. But any of my HK's will do- none of them have ever jammed.

Either my Glock 17 or my low end AK-47. I’m sure it’s possible to make one of them fail, but I’m clueless as to how to do it. They are just the most dependable semi-autos I own.

If it absolutely HAS to work every time the only carry gun I would consider is a S&W or Ruger revolver. I shot USPSA and built and repaired 1911s for years and I still wouldn't trust my life to one. I still own 4 of them and dearly love to shoot them. But I have seen how many things can cause a semi auto to choke compared to a DA revolver and won't take the chance.:D

I have a number of guns that fall into that category:

S&W 659
Glock 17
Hi-Power
AK - US build w/polish parts

None of them have ever given me any problems at all. All very reliable guns - I can't single one out as being "more reliable" than another. As for accuracy and reliability- the Hi-Power is my most accurate pistol, followed by the S&W 659. I'm just not that accurate with the Glock.
